2024 Ford Mustang GT/CS , Naturally Aspirated V8 , Cost of ownership

I was honestly shocked when I discovered that this Mustang competes with the likes of the Golf 8R in terms of pricing. How does a naturally aspirated 5.0 V8 compete with a 4 cylinder engine? 😢 Even though it seems like it chows petrol like nobody's business I'd personally go for this over any 4,5 or 6 cylinder. You get so much car for a whole less money!
