Too bad the Swedish prices are not there, as they were once a long time ago. Now $ is one to 10, but before it was 5-7 to 10 to $. As I see it, the European competitors are the BMW 4-Series and Audi A5/S6/RS5 and some from MB. But if the price is the same, which I think when we get them to Europe, then the Mustang will lose. Right now it's 2/3 the price, and even then few buy Mustangs, but I like Mustangs. Grew up with a yellow 1973 Mustang Mach 1 and bright red Ford Capri V6 S. Bye the way, a summer day in Sweden, you will see more classic Mustangs than in USA. We love them.

I think that decreased steering feel was a compromise for quicker turning and turning Radius. The steering didn't stop these cars from going sideways anyway whether you felt it or not. There are way more cars with no steering feel that are 120k. Ford is not BMW but the M3/M4 and some of there cars lost steering feel also. But the turning is pinpoint. I'm sure people who drive these cars for performance and for sport will use the aftermarket to add that feel back. However the common people who buy this car will not care about that.

​@@DINU_R delete the electric power steering. The only way to have full steering feel is to have no power steering at all really. Since it is electric tho there is probably a way to 'tune' it so that the electric unit goes limp so you dont really have to turn any wrenches.

100% the redesign is for racing homologation. It’s very similar to the shape ford used in the v8 supercar championship that was banned (atleast the side on profile)

Dark Horse: Simple rundown.. Tremec, more power, larger stickier wheels and tires, more cooling.

Dark Horse is uglier and is for the tribal tattoo crowd. Also the dealers have gone to town on the markups for the Dark Horse. Most GTs are not marked up at all. For Dark Horse money I’d prefer a Shelby GT500, fully loaded Corvette C8, or BMW M4

You’d think with modern technology that cars would get lighter in weight but with every new design they get heavier and heavier. This thing is pushing 4,000 pounds. That’s about 500 pounds heavier than the S550 and S197 Mustangs. It outweighs the Foxbody Mustang by 1,000 pounds.

they have aluminum 8.8 differentials... good thing it can only see 180hp thru it as the weight of the rear end stops it from seeing excessive torsional value via tire slip.

Although the Camaro is done (and debuted in 2016) do this same “driving” test with the 6th Gen SS 1LE, and get back to me. In no way does the GT or the Darkhorse handle better and/or has the direct steering feel/feedback of the 1LE-with its world class Alpha chassis. This Mustang is largely the same platform/chassis as the S550. I’d love to see this comparison plus a track/road course competition. However, MT says GM will NOT give them one to test?? Crazy times…✌🏾

The Mach 1 competes and beats the SS 1LE. For instance, Car & Driver’s Lightning Lap shows the 2017 1LE ran it in 2:54.8 while the 2022 Mach 1 destroyed it running a 2:51.4, both are in LL2 class. That’s right the Mustang Mach 1 ran the track 3.4 seconds faster than the SS 1LE. That’s like being beat by 25+ car lengths. 😂😂😂

This car annoyed me on video, I don’t think I would like it as an owner. I bought my Mustang GT in 06 and it’s not noisy, it has surprisingly better gas mileage too and it’s absolutely fun to drive. You would think there’s progress for the better after 17 years but other than increased HP, I just don’t see it.

And the Mustang has plenty of competition. Ford has overpriced this pony. With options, it's priced itself in the luxury performance realm. And for the price they are asking - I'm considering a BMW M2, 2024 Nissan Z, Toyota Supra Turbo, M4 BMW. They all offer manuals and a lot better performance with the fit and finish that matches the price. I'm still happy they are making Mustangs, but marketing and Corp has lost their minds.

Can we stop calling modern Mustangs and Camaros "muscle cars"? They are straight-up sports cars these days. The only remaining muscle car is the Dodge Challenger/Charger. Most of the muscle car market has moved on to overpowered pickup trucks.

The mustang is a pony car. Ford ruined their own name by slapping mustang with an MPV 😂 An ugly one at that and they further ruined it by giving it its second name "mach" Now, had they called it something interesting like "Volt" or utilised the eco boost name on that particular car then it may have done well. But to call the ev that, it was a very bad pr move. Now this thing looks alot like those 80s mustangs crossed with a fusion. It's lost its mustang lines and vents and gone for a more playmobile lifestyle. It looks plastic and slow. They may as well have made this model a saloon by putting extra doors on it. Is it a hybrid? no. has it got 600 hp? no. Has it got 4wd? No. Then what exactly makes this model so special? Optional extra, optional extra, optional extra 😅 Let's just put it up against a gt500 or the last gen...
