I have looked at the Colorado zr2 and this gmc canyon AT4x. At first i did nor think it was worth paying an extra 5,500.00 to buy rgus gmc truck. But the more i watch vehickw review videos on the canyon AT4X truck i an beginning to lean towards buying it over the colorado zr2.

The underbody cams have washers. Not paying extra for dealership installed options (pinstripes).

Styling on this truck is awesome. GM has done a great job. Let’s see if you can get 250,000 miles out of it with no problems. It shouldn’t be too much to ask for $57000.00

I was just looking at 2025. Actually, two of them, and the window stickers noted rear locking differential but no front.

My 2024 Canyon Elevation (1150 miles) has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks now. Roof dented from the car wash blower (known issue) and there are 2 oil leaks, one of which involves dropping the transmission to fix. A part needed is on backorder. There have also been other issues, such as mis-aligned doors and warning lights activating such as the adaptive cruise control and check engine. I have asked GMC to replace the truck, and they have told me to pound sand.

I like the aesthetic look with the white leather but it’s so impractical in a truck geared towards off-roading, the worst idea was making the door handle/armrest area white leather that’s going to look like hell in no time.

I'm set on getting the Denali version of the canyon brand but the AT4X is really looking good right now but I'm still going to wait until 2026 to see how they look and the power train.

The steps are removable and the pinstriping it’s not from the factory. It’s a dealership so blame them on that.

This is my favourite looking midsize. Only wish it had a Toyota emblem on it!….430 lb -ft torque is absolutely crazy

The 3 inch lift with 33 inch tires kills mpg. The lower level models get much better mileage

None of the midsize trucks get good mpg. You’re better off getting a full size if you think you’re getting better mileage in a midsize.

I desperately need a new truck, however, common sense won’t let me give away the price of my second house just to buy one . No sane person should be buying trucks now, business operators should only lease for tax purposes.

I just got a new canyon last month. It's a 4 x 2 elevation. I got out the door with tax and title for $38k. All the trucks are built on the same frame. You would never know it's only 2 wheel drive. A few less features than the other model, but still a very luxurious truck! I'd at least look into it.bim very happy with it.

Four cylinder gets the same mileage as six, but less horsepower…and life of the engine is less.

@@donovanz1049 not last as long as a quality V6 like my Toyota pickups and 4Runner, they go hundreds of thousands of miles with basic maintenance. A 4 banger with a turbo creates a lot of heat and stress on an engine. A GMC 4 banger is not going to last long term. If you are only keeping it during the warranty period then you will probably be alright.

You couldn’t give me a 4 cylinder truck…regardless of the tech, it’s all new = not proven. Guaranteed they’ll be endless amounts of issues/recalls

This 2.7 L engine has been proven and has been used in the full sized Chevy trucks already for the last few years. It has been built up more like a diesel engine in some respects. The turbo is water cooled and not oil cooled. The water pump is electric and can keep running at a high rate even with the engine idling at a stop light. You may want to see some of the engine videos on this specific engine to get some more info about it. It’s pretty interesting

I need power fold mirrors so when it’s raining, I can raise the garage door, without getting out of the vehicle, and drive directly into the garage. DEAL BREAKER for that price.

Turbo 4 cyl. 🙄 With that mpg you might as well buy a real truck. That back seat is totally unusable for a grown male that is taller than 5 feet. The front seat is cramped because it was forward so not to show the lack of room in the back. You really notice when the passenger is shown at the end. The front seat is back past the post and where the back door starts. No passenger would ever want to seat behind that seat.
