Uli comparing Gannon to Pauls run in 2015 is a good comparison. People loved to hate Paul then cause he just won everything. It's like the yankees, patriots, Lakers, and celtics; when one team/person dominates that much, it gets boring. I personally dont like gannons style of flexing overstable discs all the time, but the kid is so polished at such a young age that it's crazy. I dont think we'll ever see a climo run due to the level of talent in the game today, but gannon certainly seems like this generations goat in the making.

Gannon isn't ever happy with his good shots it feels like........ that's what scares me about next season, the season after, and the one after that............. etc, etc, etc.I love watching good golf, I route for it, but it does somewhat kill my hopes and dreams of ever going pro. It will never kill my love for the sport or my pursuit of being a better player. Anyhow, everyone is SO good now it feels like, not just Gannon. The field is STACKED, ALWAYS. Realistically, you have to commit your life to the sport to be in the mix (as you should since it's a professional sport), and you almost have to have a sick combination of genes to be a biological disc launcher, approacher, and putter. Gannon is frustrating to watch ONLY because he needs to mature as a golfer. Small things bother him too much is all I mean by that. That being said, the performance speaks for itself. Gannon being under 20, and shooting like this, is mental. I cannot imagine him in a year, two, let alone five or ten. Go Gannon, but stay tf away from my league for my own sake. Holy (insert preferred work here...)

I am in the same strange boat. The reason to me is that he has no personality in anything he does. Makes a good putt, same plain face. Misses a putt, pouts about it. It's kinda like the LeBron effect for me. I acknowledge he is the best but It doesn't make me feel excited watching him or Gannon play.

There was one on MDG Media with no commentary, perhaps that's the one you're thinking of? Not sure if Jomez has ever skipped commentary (as far as I've seen). But that MDG no-commentary coverage was so refreshing honestly, just hearing the sounds of the course. It would be sick to have a no-commentary version of Jomez coverage, not dogging on the commentary at all, I love it, but hearing all of the on-course sounds gives you more of a similar experience to that of spectators attending the event. And sometimes I just want to hear the birds and the wind through the trees, because it's a relaxing vibe. @Jomezpro perhaps an option for Patreon supporters?
