Yes. When the engine kicks in you definitely can hear the engine sound. As for gear change it is barely noticeable.

For engine sound alone I think H6 is better due to sometimes you just run on battery power so is no sound. But when engine kicks in you definitely will hear the engine sound. They are near but let alone the full electric mode I think J7 is a bit better in terms of overall NVH (if I recall correctly 😅) I won’t test speaker on video coz the sound not really represents what actual sound quality. So if you want to feel the speaker, better go test in person.

did you hear the ‘thud’ sound at the front suspension..is it normal or just me felt it during previous test drive

I didn’t hear any sound from the suspension during my test drive session. But I do hear some clicking sounds from the steering column. Probably is for the steering control for LKA function? Not sure.

the BSM alert sound can be turn off ? quite annoying given if many motors pass in between the cars during heavy traffic

During my test drive no rattling sound besides of the steering tick sound (not sure it comes from the adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist)

If you are looking for overall, especially power and fuel efficiency then H6 is the better choice. If you looking for looks, premium feels then I guess J7 will suit you.

My wife bought this with same 1.5L hybrid 2WD. The constant wheel spin drives her crazy. She was once in an opened parking lot and the bitumen was wet from rain. She moved forward slowly and there a speed hump in front of her. The car struggled to get over a simple speed hump and the front wheels kept spinning. She was totally embarrased. The cause i think is not the torque. It is a heavy vehicle with batteries and it is a 2WD which didnt help. It struggles to get traction grip under certain conditions. Quite frustrating.

Then she should just glide through the speed bump instead. The car suspension can withstand the shocks from the bumps. Anyway, maybe you can report this behavior to Haval and see whether they can help on this?

what was the speed to pass? if speed too low, I think all 2WD vehicle will come a spinning

@@CharleyinMy That will depends on your right foot. You need to carefully adjust the throttle respond. I think when you going over a bump you just can lightly tap on the throttle it should not brings the car to a wheel spin.
