Mine arrived this week too! I bought the English Jan-Dec Cousin and the Weeks with the cute computer beach scene (mother/summers). Plus one of the adorable new stamp sets. Also got the pen and mini bag freebies. Love your vid.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my video! That sounds like such a good haul! Have you used Hobonichi before? This was my first year using their planners and I am already hooked, as you can see, lol. Please stop by again soon! ☺

To recover from spills: Buy a large blotter sheet (printmakers’ blotter) from the art supply store and cut it into sheets to fit your planners. I did this in 2016 and have still been using the same one. In the event of a spill, place a blotter sheet on each side with the most liquid, close the book, and weight it down with a stack of heavy books. The stain will remain (well, every planner tells a story, right?), but this reduces page-wrinkling by quite a bit.

Thank you for the tip, I really appreciate it! I'll have to do that next time I have a spill in my planner, knowing me it will happen again. For now, I've just back planned all my previous entries into a new planner. My heart was so broken that I couldn't get another Bunny weeks cover at a decent price on Amazon, but I'm happy with the new floral cover. It matches the new notebooks ☺

Awesome review! I didn’t realise they had notebooks as well. I ordered my first Hobinichi off Amazon last year but think I’ll go direct this year. How fast was the shipping to Aus?

Shipping was fairly quick, I’d say about a week. It took longer to actually ship though because I ordered during the height of the release, so I got it 2 weeks after ordering. It should be much quicker now though seeing as its not just as everything has released. What have you been using? I’d be curious to know if you keep me updated :)

I hope you take this message in the spirit intended, but you referenced struggles with mental health and I have the same. (I live on a disability pension, but I’m quite well at the moment and have been for sometime). I agree use the planners that assist you not feeling guilt or overwhelmed. Can I suggest that perhaps the tarot isn’t helping your mental health in the way you hope it would. Just something to consider. That aside I found your video very informative (although I have been using the Hobos, since 2016), I’ve watched so many Hobonichi videos where the presenter is either too lazy to research and provide accurate information and spend the whole video saying “I don’t know!” Or they think the information they are providing is accurate and it’s not. Your information was spot on. And you weren’t too tongue tied to make a great video, well done. I wish I was as brave to do a video years ago. 😊

Thank you, I appreciate the encouragement. It’s easier for me to talk at the camera when there is no one around than it is for me to talk in a social setting. Put me with people and I over share and then second guess myself too much. I understand what you mean about the tarot though. I haven’t pulled a card for almost a month to be honest. I don’t really put a lot of stock in the tarot, it’s mostly a way for me to learn the meanings so I feel like I’m still learning something, just to be doing something lol, I find the theology behind it fascinating. Thank you again for watching my video, I really appreciate that you took the time to watch 😊 I hope you’ve had a good weekend 🩵🖤

just because you mentioned you like learning things and the theology side of things. I saw a book you might be interested in on audible of course you can get hard copy too. It’s written by Stephen Fry (he reads it too on audible. Which is great as he has a distinct voice). He’s also quite the genius and a comic, which I think a lot of the best comedians are. I believe it’s called Mythos and it’s a Re-telling of the great Greek myths. Of course they aren’t true but they are historical stories, just thought it may be of interest. You have a fabulous week!

@@elizabethnicholas1939 I've already been listening to that one on Audible! 😁 I love Stephen Fry, he is fantastic. I listen to his audiobooks while doing cleaning. He's also got one about Troy and Heroes, which are also awesome. I absolutely love him! My fiance and I loved watching all of the older QI series when he was the host of the show. 🥰

I am sorry about your coffee spilling accident however I bet it’s got that beautiful crinkly sound and what is funny I spill my coffee on my weeks on purpose 😊

@@rhonda9614 I had such a panic when it happened and I was so disappointed with myself, but I know what you mean, it does have more of a crinkle aesthetic now. I am just a bit of a neat freak I guess..... plus any excuse to buy new planner supplies 😝
