2024 Honda City RS Full Review -Worth the Extra Money over the City V?

Owned one going in 5 months, no regrets, yung aircon palagi 1 bar lang ginagamit namin kasi sobrang lamig, pero ever since the bagyong carina last week, doble ingat naako sa potholes and lubak. Honda sensing is great, been travelling alot in and out manila with the honda sensing adaptive cruise control and lane assist day and night no regrets. + Pogi pa hahaha

Your reviews has improved by leaps & bounds sir. I have a suggestion, why not include the ff in your reviews: 1. Bottle test (Klean Kanteen, Aqua Flask, Hydro flask) 2. Audio test (number of speakers & the sound quality) 3. You can show the spare tire & its compartment. 4. Night drive.

Also have a db meter or something to record NVH. Parang wala pa ko nakita nun sir, pero isa ka sa mga makakagawa nun if ever kasi very thorough ka when it comes to your reviews. One of my favorite reviewer.

Which one do you go to in terms of looks and performance? GAC EMPOW or the City RS?

Looks are subjective but the Empow has 170+ hp and 270 nm of torque compared to the City's 119hp and 145nm of torque

Just curious po if you have observed or noticed any road noise difference on the previous RS model with Dunlop tires as compared to this 2024 model with the Yokohama tires on driving at 60-100 km/hr. I’m very confused. What’s with you car reviewers when discussing the power figure? The brochure and Honda website clearly stated that the power is 121 PS. Did you guys bother to check? Or you gguys just random guess it? All reviewers keep on saying it’s 119 PS. Not an accusation but, is it intentional? Or a Honda agent secretly told you that it’s 119 PS? Or do you have a power testing at home where it’s rated 119 PS? I know it is not much difference. But it’s clearly misleading. Like the analogy in pricing example: Php 999.00 and Php 1,000.00

PS and Horsepower are two different units of measurement. The unit of measurement that I used in the video is horsepower. 1hp is about 0.986PS. 121PS is equal to 119hp. So we're both correct, we're just using different units of measurement

CVTs are bad for long term. It breaks easier and faster than like DCT or manual transmission.

Hmm really? I have a Jazz GK 2015 model with CVT transmission and already has more than 150k mileage but never had any problems whatsoever with the CVT. It's daily driven for 9 years. If you do not maintain your car properly and always drive aggressively then any cars with any type of transmission will break easily ✌️

I don’t know man. But, that doesn’t sound right, I mean do you call Vios GR-S taxi like? They have the same head board and inspired by the Vios line up. But these top of the line variants have leather seats, center arm rest and such - yes, they have the old school parking brake, and I think, for many of its target market they do enjoy that. Plus, this City RS has air vents at the back and black head liner? Oh boy, I really enjoyed a dark atmosphere inside the car. Taxi feel siya because it’s a sedan, but that’s the only closest thing. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong.

I don't know where you live, but here in the country literally no taxi exist that has better interior than this City. (Maybe a small segment of Grab cars can match it but not Taxis).

The hybrid (5th version) has electronic parking break, the City e:Hev RS, but no spare (replaced with battery) and total digital dashboard display. Same 40 litres with 1000 km range (+900 km tested)
