Owner here. Up to ~60 kph hindi sya nagshi-shift to gasoline. What you feel is the gasoline engine starting up as generator to provide more power to the electric motor. Ramdam din ang revving ng engine to increase and decrease the electric power to the traction motor. The gasoline engine only moves the car at high speeds (at an efficient range) at walang available gear to let the engine to push the car at low speed.
