I gurantee it’s not the engine it’s the transmission it regulates it’s torque so it doesn’t destroy itself drive that same engine on a manual transmission and you will feel the difference

This engine will last 2 to 300000 miles. One of the better engines from honda. Just not alot of acceleration but has average power decent.

I have the 2024 honda hrv base model, I get 33 mpg and I'm 30 miles 1 way from anywhere, all roads I drive have alot of hills as well and it dose 0-to 60 in close to 8 seconds without a turbo.

Smaller than crv but mileage is lower than crv !!! Much slower than other cars. I would prefer crv hybrid base model than hrv top.
