A 1 or 2 inch riser for handle bars make a good difference in comfort especially with wider pegs for your feet

Nice review. I would recommend when you're talking abut the ergonomics on the bike that you mention your height/weight as well so the viewers have something to reference. I'm 5'7" and doubt I would feel as cramped on the bike as you do.

These are so cool, only non Harley cruiser that hits that spot from eye test , though love that dyna and hope Harley bring that back.

Sounds like my leaf blower. Still love my rebel , added the shorty gp. Sounds way better

Agreed. It sounded like a motorcycle a hundred yards away. If nobody hears you, will cars cut you down like a tree in the woods?

Cool bike. I haven’t had a bike for 15 years and I’m thinking of one of these but I have only been able to sit on one(not test ride). Any 6ft owners out there that can tell me how are you getting on? Butt aches after an hour or so? Perhaps even some aftermarket pegs?
@GoblinRides4 ай бұрын
I'm 5'11", I'd suggest aftermarket pegs, but other than that, it's really good!

i got a 1100 and i carnt ride it for long as it makes my knees hurt
@jaketrevino16593 ай бұрын
How tall are you? I ride a cb300r my first bike and I’m cramped on it I’m 5’ 11” barely under 6ft. My knees feel fine even if I ride awhile but I sat on a rebel 500 and it just felt good. I have been thinking of buying the 1100 with the fairing because I do a lot more highway type riding than I expected and the 300 is just to gutless over 60mph

Got my Rebel 1100T in 2023 (Manual Model), I love it! I got some decent footage in the Isle of Man recently, it's up on my channel 😉

Uhm …….. the bat fairing and panniers are actually stock from the factory. This bike is called the rebel 1100 t (stands for touring) all over the world.

You can turn off traction control 😉
@RPDXC4 ай бұрын
Yup. I had to do some researching to figure this out. I was bummed thinking i couldnt completely turn it off. When your adjusting the traction control, hold the down button for 2 or 3 seconds.. Eventually tc will turn completely off. Now you can do some hard launches and burnouts.

Speed limited to 100? Deal killer. I've been in freeway situations where I had to escape an especially toxic cluster of cars going 80, so I needed enough torque at 80 to dust the cluster. That's not likely if your top end is only 100. I had a Versys 650 that was just about perfect: Top end was 113 limited, but 80 to 100 was quick enough to get away from high speed trouble, with a bit extra up top. I wouldn't buy a highway bike that can't do at least 110. Honda needs to loosen that collar a bit.

If the bikes only got 86hp, surely it can be restricted to meet A2 license criterion
@Antody4 ай бұрын
Why would you do that with all the extra weight? There's Rebel 500 or CL500 for that.

Yup, I agree. Sounds like any other generic parallel twin these days. I reckon some aftermarket exhaust might give it a better sound, but I wouldn't expect any wonders.

If you can’t tell the difference between 180 crank and 270 ……. I guess you should’ve worn ear plugs while riding your motorcycles. Besides no stock exhaust sounds that good even Harley riders replace them
