I’ve been watching so many streamers play the Silent Hill 2 remake that I had to play the OG for myself and that journey led me back here to this awesome run!

First of all, cool run (SH2), very interesting stuff! For the noose puzzle, I'm sure learning the innocent / good 2nd halves is fast enough and avoids the autosplitter / randomness, even though it's not "the fastest strat" if you don't want to submit to RNG. 1st halves are always set in place, you just have to peak on 2nd halves - you can even read them without zooming in on them. Find one that's innocent, remember which 1-6 answer it belonged to, pull that noose. With practice it's definitely a viable strat imo (and the autosplitter thing felt a bit cheap to watch). Also, I'm fairly sure the spider mannequins do in fact make a sound everytime they make a lunge; you say it's unpredictable, but I'd wager it is, it's just weirder to time the dodge than Mandarins for ex., mostly because their distance to you is different everytime
