I like what you said at the 16:00 mark. All the comparisons I've seen destroy this bike in favor of Desert X, Tiger Rally Pro and Africa Twin, but I just can't like those bikes in person as much as the 901 Expedition! a motorbike cannot be just numbers

I love your KZbin name. Norden is a powerhouse I have many videos to come I was late announcing this bike. Norden is my go to bike as it’s so light. I’m so bad riding off road but I may contact you when I ride the trail. Ride safe. Btw you’re lucky to live that close to the trail.

@@maraudermitchelli I picked up the 690 after riding a KLR. In other words I found 6th Gear! I didn’t grow up riding dirt bikes so I figured I needed a bike that would be an asset on dirt, hence the 690 platform. I still avoid technical dirt riding, but if I’m in a jam I’m confident the bike is capable of getting me out! Have a great weekend!

I want to pick this bike up this weekend but im worried I weight too much. I am 6'1 230lbs, Anyone my size or bigger have this bike? Am I ok riding it with stock shocks?

Rob I 10 pounds heavier than you and one inch taller, in my opinion the Norden Expedition is made for people are size or larger. The suspension is basically the same suspension that is on the KTM 890 Adventure which in my opinion is the best Adventure bike middle weight suspension available. The suspension is highly adjustable preload, dampening, rebound it's all there. I have over 1200 miles on this bike, it is so versatile I have to tell myself not to ride and select another bike as I don't want too many miles on it. Recommend you ride the bike...never buy a bike you haven't ridden. The engine has a ton of power and in the northeast USA the heated grips and seat are a must. Don't be afraid to ask other question in a new comment so I see it. Ride safe.

Crosspro I bought them from eBay I believe they are made in Europe. The side body panels are $500 a side I did not want to take any chances. I’ll upload a video soon on mounting the bars I hope you’ll watch. Be safe and thank you 😊

@@maraudermitchelli When doing your research on the expedition did you have any concerns about the cams going bad? I'm seeing lots of bad news about the 890 motor suffering from cam failures. Its making nervous after waiting so long to get one.

@@Bfalco71 well…I purchased an extended warranty and am hoping that the 2024 has any issues engineered out…famous last words 🙂 I have 3 other bikes, the Norden is my go to bike I have to talk myself from riding it. But the heck with what I think you have to feel comfortable

I think I off road ride PA near oil city. I live near Buffalo NY my dealer had none but this bike he was expecting and held it for me. My dealer is Hebelers Sales and Service 716-626-8744 ask for Jaque. I hope this helps 🙂
