Yeah that front grill is throwing me off a bit, I love how the current models look with how aggressive they are and the 2024 just looks so much more tame

8:08 That's their super basic set of gauges. You can find it in the low trims of the Kia Sportage, with the higher trims changing to the same one as on the previous pictures. The middle of it is a regular portrait screen you'd get with the old analog gauges, the numbers to the sides are just 7-segment displays like on a microwave oven and the cool swoops are literally transparent plastic with a couple of leds behind it. It looks really cheap once you notice that it's not a screen, and obviously it can't adapt to display anything that won't fit in the central screen

Thanks nice sneak peak, I just got my 2023 Preferred Sun Tech package black in colour as well in November and now I’m sad the 2024’s are around the corner. Mine is no longer the latest. 😥 I agree with you, I like the grill of our 2023 better, but I like the shape and curvature of the 2024’s hood a bit more. Nice review, I need to take your pics and do a side by side comparison with the 2024. Great job on your mods btw

There's a video someone made in Korea where he gets upfront and close with the avante, he confirmed the front bar is just chrome. I wonder if they will make it an actual led bar on higher trims. He also said the back led bar is on all trims

I agree with you. I don't see either the front grill or the rear diffuser as improvements. I love the "big" look to your 2023 grill and it fits the rest of the front sizewise. I also agree that the rear diffuser takes away too much body color, so unless you're going with black, it's a detraction. I'm planning to buy a Limited Hybrid. If we find that the 2024 is going to pick up some of those new features that are shown on the Avante, I might wait. Otherwise, I will jump on a 2023. Thanks for doing this comparison. I think we have similar taste and I love what you've done with your car. Dave

I definitely like the front! It gives Audi vibes if you ask me. That rear spoiler is definitely gigantic with how early they started it lol but it’d probably look alright in person. (Crazy that there’s included dash cams 🤯 ) Do you know if this is the base model or is it convenience SEL? Because I see it has a rear light bar, but standard Elantras don’t come with that. Super curious of what the price’ll be bc I may be trading my 23 Elantra in for this one if they’re close in price😂 That tech is hard to pass up if it stays around $24k

A lot of those features are available in other countries now and not USA so that doesn’t mean we will get all these features on the facelift
