Do not buy this. I had a 2021 G80 bought used with 4k miles and sold it after 1 year since it was so bad. 1) Front Headliner was not secured to the roof. I could see the plastic clips if i pulled it down slightly. How did this get past quality control wtf? 2) Panoramic roof would flex and crack if i go over uneven surfaces, which never happened with any cars I've owned. Dealerships had 4 tries to fix but could not fix 3) Weak AC that is terribly inadequate for Texas weather. 4) Rides rough and not very comfortable even with non-run flats. Granted I had the 20 inch wheels but still. 5) Poor NVH in general even with acoustic laminated glass compared to other luxury cars I've owned. 6) Gas mileage for the V6 sits around 19 mph 60/40 highway city driving which is pretty mediocre. 7) Just does not drive as well overall as the Germans or Japanese. You can tell the Koreans brands just arent quite up to snuff when it comes to driving dynamics.

I think this Genesis 22% growth has to be put into context a bit. Achieving such growth as a new brand with a fresh lineup and almost no sales to start with, is very different when compared to an 8% sales decrease of a competing legacy brand. Still very impressive vehicles and a great addition to the market that ultimately only benefits the end consumer.

Indeed, you guys are naming the greats. D.E. Davis ran a circus disguised as a car magazine and he collected quite the list of writers. I’ll always remember when Gordon Baxter, an avid flyer and one of the most popular writers for Flying magazine, was also writing about cars for C&D. He famously proved his thesis that in the state of Texas, even as big as it is, that if you positively had to be there you drove and didn’t fly. Pissed off a lot of flyers and made a lot of car types happy. Gordon was a crazy Texan and made me proud to be born here. But he was just one of a dozen greats. Not sure if any modern magazine, outside of perhaps Playboy, that had a better stable of writers.

Has Hagerty hired a lot of industry legends too? This is 🤯. You're setting the bar and then breaking it too 👏

This is how you do a car show. Every car company needs to have their car reviewed by them. Excellent work

Probably the best produced, written and presented car video that I have seen on KZbin. It raises the bar for everyone else.

Great video. On my second G already. I'd like to see them step up their performance game a bit; not quite to the AMG, RS, M level just yet. But in terms of quality, price, style and... desirability, so much potential.

I truly wouldn’t have been caught dead in a Hyundai product, and I admit I’ve had bias over the years. But recently my wife got a GV60 and it’s truly been an incredible car. I can’t wait for them to make a sporty coupe of sorts now!

Resetting the high bar (once again) for the entire automotive journalism industry. Easily the best car review video I’ve ever seen, the production quality is unparalleled on any platform by any other content creator. Truly remarkable. Well done.

Jason, as well as the whole crew, NEVER disappoint! My only complaint is that the videos like this one don't las long. I could watch them for hours. Keep up the good work.

It’s amazing how Genesis is now making much more desirable cars than Lexus . The G90 looks like a modern junior Bentley but the Lexus now just looks like a big Toyota .

Jason Cammisa is the single greatest automotive journalist today, I don't think anybody else will be able to match him ever. Amazing Stuff!

I never thought I’d enjoy a 21 minute video about Hyundai, great job Hagerty. If you want to complete the cinematic look, all you need is to shoot the next episode with an anamorphic lens, that would be awesome.

I've long enjoyed Jason and often been entertained by Randy, but this episode of the pairing is darned near perfection. Well done.

The Genesis not only has ANC but has Dolby Atmos with 6 arrays of overhead drivers. I test drove one a week ago as I’m a very much involved in the high end a/v industry and am a car enthusiast as well and admittedly efficiently imaging overhead audio when the listener is sitting in the nearfield isn’t a simple process. The end result however was quite convincing, the power train was linear and produced more than ample power, the brakes were potent and the suspension was as good if not better than any car in its class. They’ve come quite a ways…

So, this is the kind of an era where we absolutely astonished by Hyundai and their amazing lineups. But puking and pulling our eyes for BMW new design language and company direction. Oh how times has changed!
