I bought the 2024 Kona SEL AWD back in December. I have had Hyundai vehicles since 2010 and have enjoyed them all. I am by myself now and for one person and her dog the size is perfect. I love the way it handles and the ride. Your video confirmed that I made the right choice for me. Thanks

Test drove a Kona, loved the big shifter next to the window wiper. but the middle console for the Sel conveniences package was smaller than I expected. Is it also normal for it to have a 1 second delay when pressing the gas peddle? This kinda push me away 😮‍💨 test drove the Honda HRV and was more responsive and normal for my everyday drive. But it doesn’t have what I like neither 😩

If you live in snowy conditions get the AWD. It’s unbelievably reliable. With downhill mode and snow mode you are perfectly safe and in control. This car is probably best in class and price range. Already put a deposit down after test drive. Can’t wait.

I have the SEL FWD model. No convenience package, and when I initially setup CarPlay I did indeed need the data cable plugged in. But afterwards it is a totally wireless connection. No cable needed.

That could be content for a follow up video concerning CarPlay connection. Once you verify it for yourself of course. It is hard to believe that Hyundai would put wireless connect in a $26,000 Elantra ( my 22 Elantra, totaled in accident) but not in a $30,000 suv crossover.

30:38 We leased a Mirage Green SEL 5 days ago and we are loving it. We are over 80 and feel the SEL is a great car for seniors. I have a troublesome back and it has been easy getting in and out of the Kona. Features like the power adjustable driver and passenger seats add to the convenience and comfort.

Just bought 2024 Kona and it came with all those add ons like the first aid kit, floor mats, mesh etc . My question is could I have told the dealer I don’t want those and would they have discounted those add ons?

I think it’s super cool looking. My concern is Kia / Hyundai supposedly being easy to hack into and drive off. Is this true? Also if you’re going to spend $31000 you might as well get a Jeep. It does look cool tho.
