@nickfenton233418 күн бұрын
NGL it kinda did, yeah
@eldem781818 күн бұрын
Yeah, it did. The start felt like a year of chances, for climate justice, a new President in the US, a way to peace in Isreal and Ukraine, a new feeling of unison in the EU, but most of them were deeply disappointed. In the end, so to say in retrospective view, many chances were missed, many problems left unsolved, many different ways to solutions blocked. But there are many new chances, like the new situation in Syria, many problems solved, that we didn't think about, and many more days, months and years to come. Let's all be hopeful and do our best to let 2025 start like 2024, but end a little bit better. Every Person counts!

Honestly, for such a packed and massive year, this has no reason to be the shortest out of all of your year recaps. Everything here felt extremely fast-paced with no air to breathe for each event that has happened. What happened to events such as Diddy's arrest, BRICS, Marcellus Williams, Menedez brothers, India's doctor case, Truong My Lan, hurricane Helene, Eurovision, Francis Scott Key Bridge, USA Approves Bill To Ban TikTok, The "second Moon", Epstein Island List, Raisi's death, EDL Riots, Mr. Beast controversy, US Port strike, Telegram, and the political feud in the Philippines for example. You mention Palestine briefly, but how about martyrs like Aaron Bushnell and Hind Rajib (or even a mention of Macklemore's hit track or Jonathan Glazer's speech which was the most known moment within this 2024 Oscars) Internet phenomenons like Hawk Tuah (brainrot culture in general) and Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson were also pretty relevant. And for such monumental events like the election season and Olympics, you think that it would be much longer with how much has come out of it? I always look forward to your recaps because they always feel like they comprehend most of what happened this year, but this was kinda weak compared to the rest of your catalog.
