That agenda was spread a few years ago by journalists who didn't like the fact that Mbappe was the best player in a team that had Messi and Neymar. They weren't used to seeing Neymar and Messi second and third best. If you go back to PSG highlights or tweets from that time, you can see journalists like Gerard Romero coming up with this story. Since Mbappe idolizes Cristiano and his career path is similar to that of Cristiano, these guys tried to run the same agenda they did with him: claim that he's an arrogant egomaniac that destroys teams. When in reality all we can see is Mbappe smiling and having a good time with his teammates. And when Mbappe joined Madrid, media outlets like Romero here claimed that boring story that "his eGo WiLL cLaSh wItH tHaT of Vini and Jude". Don't you see through it? Why Vini and Jude? Because Mbappe, Vini and Jude are the three players that have dealt most pain to his favorite team, Barcelona in recent years. Since Romero is a big voice in Spanish media and El Chiringuito TV, his stories become mainstream fast. Do not take everything seriously when it comes to Spanish media.

Eth did an amazing job CONSIDERING the situation around him. From players to media he had to deal with.
