This was awesome! So many awesome foods and lots of variety. We’ve never had duck fat fries. It sounds very interesting and would definitely give them a whirl. Have y’all been to Der Dutchman? They have the best Amish Peanut Butter. We got a good laugh at Brent’s Goodburger orange pop reference…..I do! I do! I do hooo! The elephant ear looked amazing! @@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV we had a great time, and they definitely know how to do fair food! We haven’t been to Der Dutchman yet, but there are two places in northern Indiana, Das Dutchman Essenhaus and the Blue Gate, where we’ve been many times, they serve Amish peanut butter in squeeze bottles on the tables, you can’t beat that!

thank you so much for the video! we are going to the fair tomorrow (Friday) from Ohio and I was definitely thinking of trying some of the items you all did. I can now say for sure that I will be getting cheesecake elephant ear. There are a couple of items I want to try that you all did not. I believe there are 2 different grilled cheese items and a deep fried potato with sausage gravy that also look good. Also the blueberry milkshake and strawberry cheesecake funnel cake. I watched the entire video so... I must be a SAINT.... lol

We could only afford/stomach so many things, so we had to try and pick and choose what to try this time around. The blueberry shake sounded great to me, and grilled cheese is always good. @braceyourselfchannel so I tried the blueberry cheesecake elephant ear, blueberry milkshake, and the messy grilled cheese. My daughter shared the elephant ear with me. Everything was delicious. I had hoped to try more, but she was more interested in riding tides. Lol

I just can't stray from my go-to's at the State Fair. I kick off my appetizer with the Wisconsin Fried Cheese, then my entree rotates between the Donut burger OR the BBQ mac & cheese, with my dessert of fried oreos. Not the most adventurous, but I just can't pass up the chance to eat those every chance I get!

Hello from Indy too! You made a huge dent in the Taste of the Fair list. I had to go twice and made two different videos for my vlog and still didn’t get to nearly as many places. My biggest surprise- I really liked the pickle pizza.

Darn. I did not make it to the fair this year. I specifically wanted to try the Bratzilla. And now I find out it was worth the trip. I also had my eye on the Korean corn dog. And there was frozen tea (like a slushy?). That sounded good too.

@@delynndehardt1859 the bratzilla was delicious, and the frozen tea slushy I think was one of the top vote getters, but from what we saw/heard, that Korean corn dog was a pretty big disappointment, so at least you can take that as a win 😜. We’ve seen that too. The only thing we would guess is since we went on the very first day of the fair and it was like 2 hours after they opened, maybe they tried to get away with not having to add the minis but then people complained. If they are going to post a picture of the dish looking one way and then they try to make it differently, obviously people are going to ask questions. Hope you have a great time!

I would have subscribed but you guys complain way too much. It seems like everything you eat there so complaint for someone who loves going to the fair. You need to step back a little little bit on the complaints.

@@deniseranft511 we’re sorry you feel that way. If you are looking for a channel where the hosts tell you how great everything is, whether it really is or not, there are plenty of them out there. Our viewers seem to like the fact that we are honest about what we try and about whether we think it’s good enough to recommend to someone who has never tried it. We love the fair and we love food, we just know that there are way too many options and if we say that everything we taste is the best thing we’ve ever had, people will watch and not know where to begin.
