I have 2011 Infiniti FX 30S V6 Diesel with 120k miles on the clock. It is maybe a little outdated but the build quality is the next level. It has bluetooth and i can listen to the music on BOSE sound-system...don't need anything else...happy with it!

I agree it looks amazing and i believe the interior could use an update. The used market value of these is way lower than new, which makes it a fairly decent suv for the price.

Changing it to Front Wheel Drive is what killed the QX50. When it had a longitudinal 3.7 with a 7 speed it was a good vehicle. Transverse with a CVT=cheap. Same thing with the QX60 (JX35). The FX was a beast based on the same platform that the 370 Z and G37 were and it sold extremely well. When the Pathfinder went front wheel drive and they came out with the JX as the luxury version it just showed more of the cheap transition of the brand and everyone can see how Nissan and Infiniti has suffered.

Well the Acura RDX & Lexus NX both have transverse mounted engines if I'm not mistaken. The only version of the NX that have an eCVT are the hybrid models

@@CarsandTechInfo completely different platform vehicle. Those are compact SUVs. The QX30 would be their direct competition. The QX50 completely changed its drive train orientation, which answers the question of why it is failing. It had very high sales numbers when it was oriented with the higher quality standard of a longitudinal powertrain. There is a reason why the higher cost luxury vehicles have this orientation. It cost more. Transverse equals cheap and always has.

The exterior has aged well but the interior shows its age the most compared to the 2022-2025 QX60 & the brand new 2025 QX80. They need to bring the interior from the QX60 at a minimum for how much they're charging for this more powerful Rogue that only looks better on the outside. They need to drop the CVT & give it the same normal 9-speed automatic the QX60 has. Even the Rogue Platinum has a nicer & more up-to-date interior than this does 🤦🏽‍♂️🙄

Nissan needs to use the 9 speed from the Pathfinder in all their cars. Then they need to update infotainment to a single touchscreen unit.

It’s cause Nissan is so clapped out nowadays. Their CVTs are trash and for Infiniti they’re mostly just rolling out the same cars from like 2013 except with updated styling

This thing doesn't stand out on the road at all. These online 4s on maxed out vehicles in the mid 60k range is crazy. I can see older women loving these. Beyond that, it isn't worth it compared to any other manufacturers
