I recently bought the 2023 Sniper T Pro on sale from my LBS. I could not be happier. I am about 2 weeks away from outracing e-bikes uphill. It also points downhill like a beast. It is so much fun. Ride on.

Huh, nice bike…. I still remember the days when you guys use to make hand built frames in America down in Temecula, I miss those days. Steber was one of my heroes in the industry. I purchased a total of 5 frames throughout those years…. But hey, I get it….can’t beat the savings of going overseas and selling them at Costco, eh 😉

Most top brands like Specialized and Trek make their bikes in Taiwan now days. The bikes sold at Costco are the same quality as any bike shop purchased bike, you are just saving money cutting the shop fees of putting the bike together and adjusting it. I know because I bought a 951 trail from Costco and you can also buy the exact same bike from other Intense dealers (bike shops) on the internet for more money.

@@brutallyhonestmf5578 I hear ya, but what’s sad, it’s this mentality and new way of doing business is hurting the old-school “mom & pop” bike shops. Every single intense frame I purchased in the past, were from a traditional bicycle shop, one that was not located in aisle number 34 of a giant box store. Instead, one built a friendship with the bike shop owners and the mechanics, in fact, one of the bicycle shops I purchased three of my five intense frames had been around for 30+ years, handed down from family member to family member. A bond & history like that cannot be replaced. I’m sure your 951 is a nice bike, I’m just old-school and I prefer the solidness and reliability of a handmade aluminum frame, ie: Foes Bikes 👍🏻.
