i am happy you feel more confident. remember to read the sections before attempting to solve the problems. This will give you a better understanding of what you are required to do. Take your time to understand the question. The most common mistake students make is that the start solving a problem immediately and usually approach the problem the wrong way. It is then hard to unfix your thoughts and think of the correct way to solve the problem. Look at the marks for each question, this will give you an idea of how complicated the solution is. Keep an eye on the time and don't fixate on a problem for a couple of marks, move on and come back to it if you have time. If you have time at the end check your printouts with the question paper (not from the screen). Good luck with your exam. Come back and let us know how you did.

Do not get discouraged by your teachers actions. you focus on your learning and keep working hard. The exam is not dependant on your teacher so everything else that leads up to the exam is not important, only the effort yo uput in.

Hello sir I have a doubt at around 39:48, after I applied all the formatting as you've shown for date and time, it is still in MM/DD/YYYY format, while the paper is asking for DD/MM/YYYY format. At the start of creating the table through the wizard I had also fixed the date format in the advanced tool. It's still not showing... And I would also like to point out with all due respect that in the word document part, the picture was supposed to be right aligned 😊

A bit hard to fault find when i can not see or have access to what you are doing. First i suggest you modify your regional settings. You should however be able to fix this error by using the format and setting to dd/mm/yyyy

You can also do this. In design view, click on the DOB field and at the bottom in the properties inside the Format type dd/mm/yyyy and this will format your DOB to display properly.

It was creating a columnar form, with the Options buttons that are being intersected with the other two existing tables. Thanks a lot for this video! When i try to import text file i end up getting 2, i deleted it multiple times and redid it step by step . So i opened the excel doc and half the dates were in hashtaggg, how can i fix that

The second table is probably the errors. You are assigning the wrong data type for a feild. As a result the data that can not be imported is placed in a second table. Open the table that is named errors and you will see which feild you are doing wrong.

Most likely it is there but it is squashed at the end and you can not see it. In Design view move the fields to the left and see if you can see it or you see a very small rectangle which if you expand it is the food allergy field that was squashed.

@@xshadowfistx i am quite sure that if you add it when designing the report it should be in the design view. Make sure you you have check all the boxes in the design view. It is probably a very small box so you can not see the text. you need to expand the box. If you can not find it send me an email with your database and your report saved and i will have a look. in the databases part i am getting 3 pages when doing print preview ,i checked all the conditions and everything is in its place but i still dont get why it is showing three pages

it depends on what is on those pages. If you have gone beyond the page margins then it will print more pages. The other issue is usually because in the design view of the report students tend to make the area with the fields taller and as a result every line int he report takes up more space and results the report needing more pages.

Not sure what you mean. Please give me a more detailed description of your issue. Are we talking about the word component? What margins are not aligned? if you have columns then both columns (left and right) should be aligned at the top. Is this what you mean? If yes then if they are not aligned then click the show hide button to see if you have any extra paragraphs.

Sir is there any particular reason why you use the design view instead of the layout view to switch around the order of the fields in your database report. Personally i find using arrow keys in the layout view way easier because i dont have to constantly shift back and forth from the design view to the report view to see the changes

Just a preference. The design view allows more flexibility so i prefer students get used to 1 interface rather than 2. So choosing between the 2 i go for the one that will allow students to carry out any function. But anyone can use what works for them as long as what you produce is correct.

@@yahyahussain1558 anything i say is a guess. There is no way of knowing. Questions do not repeat, instead it is what the papers will focus more on, especially in Spreadsheets, Data bases and sometimes Web Design. There is no formula so you need to have all round knowledge.
