@@akaritomioka_2 Hey , I’m in 7th grade rn too and I would just advise that u review the topics that u are struggling with in the subject! Make flashcards on Quizlet and try ur best. Try not to get distracted and have a positive mindset! I like to refresh my memory with every topic in subject quickly just in case u have forgetting some key points which will be needed in ur tests . Also , knowing a fact is good but understanding the facts is better . Try to understand how something works and when doing an action in ur daily life try to link it to that fact ( especially useful in science ) . Lastly , understanding the quickest and most efficient way you can learn such as watching videos , reading a text or doing an experiment ; this will be helpful as you will pick up the knowledge quicker and easier when revising . Hopes this helps and good luck! PS - if u have any questions u can ask me and a KZbinr called jspark rlly helped me so i suggest in ur free time u can watch him!

The test is 20-25 minutes, the lesson is 45 minutes, but because our teachers give it at the start of the lesson we did it for 45-50 minutes. summary: 1. During study sessions, Quiz Yourself + Pretend to Teach Others etc. Read Backwards Technique 2. You need to change contexts when doing different kinds of mental tasks. Batch your tasks (combine tasks such as essay writing and similar writing tasks, and other tasks like math problems). 3. Do your Fixed tasks (mindless work e.g. making flashcards) before Variable tasks (e.g. writing an essay, brainstorming ideas for a project). Parkinson's Law leads to variable laws taking up all the time. For variable tasks, ask yourself how much time you need then reduce that time by 10-20% and set a timer. You'll be surprised by how fast you can finish that work. 4. Don't idle (Move on when a question is so difficult that you cannot answer it no matter how much you think). You have to counter the Sunk Cost Fallacy here. Do other questions first then you can come back and answer the previous questions later. Don't bother answering all the questions in order.

Like your friend just quiz you 10 min before the exam and you know everything but seeing the same question in the test or exam makes you forget everything for some reason.

1) forget about number of hours. because you can't base your efficiency of studying based on no. of hrs alone (ex - for the same 5 hrs, you can either revise notes and highlight imp point OR do active recall, try to explain the concept to yourself and find out your weak points, and then improving those weak points accordingly) 2) read backwards ( summary/highlights - skim all topic headings - read first paragraphs of each topic and skim through rest of the tiopic content - (optional) read everything in detail 3)batching tasks (basically, writing requires a certain type of thinking, reading requires another type of thinking and so on). so batch the similar types of tasks into groups so that number of transitions will be less. in each batch start from the easiest and move on to the harder ones to enter into flow state of sorts. 4)give yourself constraints (Parkinson law - work expands so as to fill the time give for its completion - more time => less effort and less time => more effort) how to efficiently set time constraints? - take a task - ask yourself how much time would it approximately take - reduce that time by 10-20% and set that as your timer to complete the task 5) use ai to your advantage (dont copy obv) (grammarly pro) 6)sunk cost fallacy - just cuz you have invested a lot of resources (time, money etc) on a particular item/task doesn't mean you shouldn't;t drop it even though dropping it clearly is the wiser choice. for example in an exam you are stuck in a particular qs then just move on, complete other questions and then come back to the ones you were previously stuck on. down let your ego in the way. 7) do mindless work (fixed tasks) first. there are 2 types :- fixed = mindless work, revising notes, doing simple homework which dont require much brainstorming etc. and variable tasks = creative thinking tasks like essays, grp project ideas and brain storming related stuff. do fixed tasks first as they will take a fixed time and in the rest of the time you should fit in your variable tasks. reason - if you do variable task first, by Parkinson law, variable takes will occupy whole time cuz they compound up. (and yes Gohar it does make a lot of sense! please keep creating more productivity hacks!) 8) tag your notes. (attend all lectures for this one it will end up being useful). - will be very useful when revising. generally lecturers mention which topics are really important, and sometimes there will be certain concepts which you have never heard of before/find hard to understand. mark them.

As someone without a sense of time, (I may or may not have adhd) I cannot purposely give myself constraints because I do already without wanting to. I will ALWAYS procrastinate and if the subject is boring, I cannot lock in and my mind will wander. Also, you made me realize I already knew how to study the right way, but I am just to lazy to take action and lock in.

I read Stolen Money Secret out of curiosity, but what I learned changed everything. I’ve started attracting success in ways I never thought possible. This book is the real deal.

There are a lot of good things in the book, such as you need to have energy to earn large amounts of money. The more energy you have, the more you will earn, but you will also be more attractive to people, of course, quality people, not some fools.

I read a book saying that the more money you give to the poor, the more you get back three times, can I apply that in business?

All this is great when you read it you have to work on your business again not 100% but 200%🤛

You don't know how much this actually helped me change the perspective in assignments and studying as a whole (I was pretty much losing hope for my own self) I can barely understand my Calc 1 professor, but when I found your video, it was pretty much the solution on how I should study more efficiently before an exam. Praying I pass this first exam, because his accent was severely heavy and I had a hard time also reading his notes, so I pretty much have to teach myself the entirety of Calc 1. Thank you, Gohar :D

0:27 he says that he studies 4 times than student B, which is wrong. This is because student B studies 2hours while student A studies for 6hours. If you do the division the difference is 3 times. Bro legit having the coffee's side effect🤣

@tngirlchamp6073it’s not like it takes 3 hours to complete a basic math problem. Unless you are 2 months old, it shouldn’t take that long to solve a basic math problem. You don’t need to be free to solve something as simple as “2x3=6”
