I always enjoy the Two Wheelin' segments. Thanks MotorWeek!

Me too. I also like watching the old car tests from decades ago. Particularly comparing sports cars, with less HP than a modern minivan.

Looks like a solid 1st bike. I'm sure they'll sell well.

Easy to read in all conditions? Guage is nearly unreadable in broad daylight 😅 Still, nice bike though, just needs a manual guage or indiglo like my watch

Is ABS not a requirement on new bikes in the U.S.?
@ThirtyYearstoolate19 күн бұрын
No.
@mrmark860318 күн бұрын
No. It's still a pricey option. ABS systems are complex. This is a cheap starter bike. Most have the option, if you want to pay.

or the 3rd path ... you started on dirt before you even got your license - then moved to the street; this mode leans more to Cafe than Cruiser and certainly at 500 ccs - you are not 'cruising the highways with this comfortably. No shame on Kawi - there have been 9 of them through my garage - quality fun rides - but 'cruiser' starts with the Vulcan line up - and anyone that has ridden team Green knows it.

Yes. Besides the very low seat height (which also, unfortunately, reduces rear suspension travel), I see nothing about this bike to make it a "cruiser."

I grew up with the original. It was a proper muscle bike, meant to compete with the V-Max. This thing is just sticker package on a pedestrian bike, and it's blasphemous.

Now they make, H2 series supercharged bikes, if performance is your desire. The H2R is 300 + Hp and holds the production bike speed record @ 249 MPH. Eliminator, is just a name.
@mrmark860318 күн бұрын
@@ThirtyYearstoolate Agreed. It's just a starter bike. They already own the name.

I test rode an eliminator way back in the late 80’s (LoL). It was a pile of junk. Worst riding bike I’ve ever rode. I sure hope they got it right after all these years.
@ThirtyYearstoolate19 күн бұрын
In 1985 it ran an impressive 11.84 @ 114.5 MPH. It was a drag-style bike with the Ninja 900 engine. Now collectable. Please explain how that is "pile of junk"?

@@ThirtyYearstoolateNo ride modes, non adjustable suspension, I’ll stick by my claim. I’ve ridden and owned far better bikes.

@@georgekisselbrock8937 Those 80s bikes did not have "rider modes"?
@georgekisselbrock893718 күн бұрын
@ you are correct. I misspoke. The current eliminator doesn’t, so I guess for $6,500, you get what you pay for.
