I want one. This is a great price. $2000.00 cheaper than the 650 and all I’m losing is 13 mph top speed, and half a second on the 0-60. I’ll save the 2 grand.

So the 650 doesn't have more torque on the rev??? Real question?? I'm looking to buy one as new beginner

@@KarinaMartin-gj8yd not sure about that. I do know that they increased the low/mid level torque on the ninja 500 compared to the ninja 400 despite them supposedly having the same horsepower. If your a new rider I wouldn’t get a 650 unless you take a bike course first. None of that letting a friend teach you garbage. Take an actual course. Really though not sure why anyone would need anymore than a 400cc-650cc bike unless your track racing.

@@xDRAGOSLAVx yeah I live in Chicago no need anything above 650 the streets here are different even the highway is very different and weird even down lake shore drive nd not the best roads due to weather nd cheap ass politics

@@KarinaMartin-gj8ydMore weight to help with highway use too ..My fiance got the 650 and I bought the 500. She'll be doing more highway riding whereas I'll be using mine as a city street bike for nice days. There is enough room in the market for both

@@zahnyto709 Actually, when you included the word “but” in your statement, you WERE implying that the 451cc Ninja WAS a real 500 because of the extra horsepower (which is inaccurate & you came up with on your own).

As a dealer no the ZX-4r is not not overpriced it’s an entry lever four cylinder below 10k the ZX-4r is a completely different bike compared to the 400, 500, 650 it’s on a similar playing field of the ZX-6r and ZX-10r

Zx4r is a basically a baby supersport. The Ninja 400/500/650 is more into sport touring or street sport.

Maybe the naked z500 is nice n nifty, but me personally if imma choose a sport bike under 1000cc or 600cc, imma go with the inline 4 ninja 400🤷🏿‍♂️. My go to rn is my fz07, love it. Had a z900 before and will again when my wallet is good. But i do think the 451 cc is an improvement and a set up

Ninja 650 has an on road price of around 8.5 lakhs, so it may be around 6.5 to 7 lakhs for sure

@@vaishnav6323 it is launched and it's around 6 lakhs man. If we look at it from the point of Kawasaki, it's quite well priced. When we see from an overall perspective it is too much.

@@gabbyvalen5688 for the amount of compression it would take to kick start a bigger bike. It is ridiculous besides never knew a sports bike if any type to come with a kick start. Unless early 80's scooters may come with a kick start, but many are CVT transmissions.

I’ll pass, and keep my tuned ninja 400 over this. Don’t care for the tech, the extra weight and the same frame. And the power is not much of a hike. Kawasaki should have came out with a true 500cc over this. The 400 is already a fantastic bike. Plus I’m not a fan of the colors. They need to bring back the candy plasma blue of the 400!!
