Minivans are better in every way over SUV’s. If people wouldn’t be so proud, there would be minivans all over the place, especially with families. But of course, impressing others takes priority over function for most people.

Took the words out of my mouth. The only exception might be a family that for some reason needs extra ride height and AWD, I was looking at a Wagoneer the other day, just to get into the driver's seat you need to grab a bar and I'm 6 foot tall. But there are minivans with AWD anyway.

Also, something he didn't touch on was the lane keep function. Not the lane departure (which works well) but the -steers itself while you're going down the road function. It works really well too. There is an icon for it. When it's green it means the system recognizes what it needs to, to be able to steer the vehicle. Hands off and it makes corrections to keep the vehicle centered in the lane. I bit unnerving but once you commit to putting your life in the hands of software (lol) it's kinda fun. It will prompt you to put your hands back on the wheel, so not entirely death defying

Golly, I need to read the users manual! Lane Departure you say. Amazing well proven dual injection GDI technology, we don't need no stinkin Hybrid or AWD. Try 93 octane, you'll be impressed.

Love it! I currently have a odyssey, don’t think I will be going with Honda again as they havnt made much changes…overall love the Honda but I do love the way this looks and the setup looks a lot better, cleaner and more elegant….need the TV package on this though for those 20 hour long trips to Florida, 3 times a year.

We have a 2022. Same package. EX. All that. Can't say enough about it. Been absolutely fantastic. Drive it from central ohio to Orlando last summer. 3 adults. 2 kids. And a ton of stuff. Handled the trip like a champion. More than enough power through the mountains. Everyone was very comfortable. We see 29mpg regularly on back roads going up to Sandusky in the summer. Super solid vehicle. No problems, only been to the dealer for oil change changes.

@@RMSFAM09 the wife and I decided to go for it. We paid sticker. Our salesman said that Kia told them to stop putting price adjustments on them and to focus on building a relationship. Guess they're not all doing it.

2024 SX Prestige here.. trick is to buy it at MSRE. Dealers often mark the SXP up. Clearly, The BEST MiniVan. Toyota and Honda got some work to do.

Something very important he missed, on the Kia website says it's "GDI and MPI" but when I click on "see window sticker" it says GDI V6 only. Which is it?? Because that would make all the difference if I buy a car or not, I'm not buying just a GDI engine, this is why I checked out a Telluride but the 3.8 V6 it has is strictly GDI injection.

It’s both, GDI & MPI, they labeled it “smartstream”. without this features means it’s only GDI.

@@TravelersCorner That's the suspicion I had, however I'm not sure why Kia/Hyundai don't advertise and market this technology. I don't understand why they want to keep it a secret. My crazy guess is, they don't want to dissuade buyers from buying one of their products with GDI-only technology. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Like my previous comment says, it makes the difference if I'm going to pay money for a certain car or not. It looks like manufacturers have been moving away from the GDI-only setup.

They focus on design, features and styling. Ex, Tellurides still got 3.8 V6 GDI Engine. It’s an old engine but people still wanting these SUVs not because of how engine works but because it’s just adequate for the application.
