Just had my 2023 Forte GT-Line w/ Tech package totaled a month ago when someone didn't even attempt to stop behind me at a redlight. Not only did that Forte save my life from possible long-term disability given the magnitude of the crash, but I was left with zero liability and just picked up the 2024 Forte GT-Line yesterday, surprised to see not only did I get all the features I previously had... but I even got a few more, and this is without any additional packages. As a non-car guy who just wants a vehicle they can learn about and love... this car seriously checks so many boxes, it's absolutely unreal. ❤❤

Sorry to hear about the crash. Glad you’re okay. Enjoy the car. Thanks for tuning in.

You can go full screen on the Nav. If you drive in Economy mode and keep highway driving between 65-70, you can average 44-48 MPG.

Absolutely can confirm. This car is a beast at fuel efficiency when you're driving with it, not against it.

Just picked up my 2024 Kia Forte GT Line 2 weeks ago in Fire Orange. It is a smaller car but I was able to get all the bells and whistles and that 's a lot! So far I amazed at her MPG, sharp looks, turning radius and it fit my budget - so much car for the money! If my budget was larger I would have gone for the Kia K-5 (she is like the big sister to the Forte) and you can get it with AWD - maybe next time.

I am so glad they have NON LED headlights, turn signals and taillights. I don't care what you say. I would rather spend $12 for a replacement bulb instead of $1,200 for a LED lamp.

Handsome car in and out! A value proposition especially if you look at included safety features. A good competitor to the Civic, Corolla and Impreza. Take good care of it and I have a hunch it will be durable. Elantra is also similar. Very good review, as expected!

Thanks Louis. One of my favorite compact sedans.

How dependable & reliable is the IVT transmission?
@donlarsenjr23328 ай бұрын
IVT's suck. However the Kia is at the higher end for reliability. Do a fluid change every 30,000 miles and it should a long time.

16" tires would quiet road noise?
@Jessica1415210 ай бұрын
Smaller wheels = Less noise. Bigger wheels = More noise So a 16in wheel will produce a lot less road noise than an 18in wheel. Smaller wheels also means a smoother ride, while larger wheels mean better handling and stability. I drive a whole lot and I'm not a Nascar driver, so I want a smooth ride with less noise so I always buy cars with smaller wheels. A 17in wheel is a nice in-between. It will give you better stability and handing than a 16in, while also having less road noise than a 18in wheel.

CVT is standard vs. 6 to 9 speed auto transmission in a Nissan Sentra!
@resplendentwitticism10 ай бұрын
Both are CVT

Sentra is CVT as well.

So I would go with the Nissan Sentra for alot less you get as much features as the car plus you get an actual spare.
