Was deciding between Yaris Cross V versus Sonet SX. Decided to go with Kia and will spend the extra 100+k of my budget to pimp up the Sonet more with ceramic coating etc. I also compared both on actual test and interior feel, ang layu ng Yaris. Solid si Sonet. Just sharing.

I definitely find the Sonet and Yaris Cross to be the two most bang-for-the-buck smaller crossovers available in the local market right now. And the funny thing ia, Kia PH was positioning the Sonet (particularly its lower-end variants) to compete with the Toyota Raize, but ended up with an alternative to the Yaris Cross aa well with the higher Sonet models.

This is very up to spec tho for sure this can beat the raize and even a yaris cross has 105 hp in a 1.5 while this 113hp in a 1.5 and the base yaris cross is 1.50+m while this being a little more 1.150+m which is a 100k more but the specs over a base yaris cross is worth it

💯 It makes the cabin harder to cool on hot days and the gaskets get brittle over time in our weather, leading to leaks. I feel it's the new-to-car ownership folks who want glass on their topside... Sure, it's novel and cool in the first couple of weeks, months, maybe in a year or two -- but once the novelty wears off, it's just another part that will break down and bring headaches

Between this and the top of the line raize this is better, ADAS, 2nd row air vents, sunroof and a much more powerful engine. The downsideis, its much more expensive than the raize turbo.

Autodeal have the best video quality as far as Philippine Car review is concern. Having said that, this guy’s attempt to humor is often over the top. Perhaps dial it down a notch? This car is really a good option. Already purchased my raize 2 years ago. Yes it is only 3 cylinder but the advantage of 3 cylinder engine is the fuel efficiency. I used my raize (city and express way) and the fuel consumption is between 13-15km/liter and the engine power is really not bad. I really want to know what is the fuel consumption of kia sonet. 😊

sunroof causes problems after several years for leaks, my car have a sunroof but it is always closed, wish Kia would sell their smaller car model call Ray which is very ideal for Phil roads i still advocate for registration fees to be based on the size of the car so huge pickups will get taxed and pay more on road user tax and registration, we should encourage smaller and fuel efficient cars
