2024 KTM 300 XC-W First casual ride and review

Just got back from the suspension shop with the new KTM. I was too excited to ride the bike and set off in shorts and T-shirt without setting anything up on the bike. Have to take this ride review with a grain of salt.

Hey bud to release the choke all you need to do is Twist the throttle forward and it will drop the idle back down. no need to stick your hand back under there

Ok so you don't need to put your hand back down there to turn the cold start off. Just push the throttle all the way forward and it will disengage. The book also says don't touch the throttle and let it warm up before you rev it. Hope this info helps. No need to burn your hand.

Also your not supposed to ride it with the cold start on. All the cold start does is allow more air to enter the system as the bike will add more fuel/oil when the engine is cold. You can block stuff up and choke the bike out riding it on cold start.

I just added a Rekluse cx4.0 to my '23 300xc. Definitely super against it for the longest time but my god, it's awesome. definitely check it out. No more boots causing shifting issues

Dude, I think you were looking for the XC model not the XCW. Plus, if you turn your rebound up, it will make it more Bucky. you want to soften it if that’s what the problem is.

Yes, do it! Helmet, boots, underwear is the best way to ride! Just goofing around the neighborhood here, I usually do where all the gears.
