Keep talking. Everything you say is truthful and useful. It’s very rare to find such accurate and honest info on the net nowadays. Thanks millions for your great videos and sick suspension products.

Hey Jeff, If you use a 13mm wobbly on the upper shock bolt you can get it out without removing any plastics on 24 450. very slick!

The process was exactly as you show on my 2024 300 XCW hard Enduro. Thanks for doing this troubleshooting for us.

I sat down to pull the shock off my new 2024 450 XCF-W and.. wtf! A quick Google search and I found this video. Thank you for saving me a ton of time! I just gone mine off pretty easily. FWIW for others: I removed my rear wheel, since I'm also installing a new rear sprocket. I also removed the mud flap, since it takes 2 seconds. I left my exhaust silencer on. The shock pulled out straight backwards with piles of room around it.

That bike is sexy as hell; great information on the new style PDS shock removal.

What did you think about the progressive spring on your bike Jeff? Alek said you went with that for a while. I already installed the National and Lucky's in my 2022 500 EXCF, but hoping I don't need to go that far with the so24 300 XC-W? By the way, the MX Tech on the 500 with the Mule valving is simply incredible!

Hello Mark: The O.E.M. shock will never come close to the National shock, but installing a progressive spring gave it more bottoming resistance.

Literally having springs replaced (from Slavens) as we speak on my 23' 300 XCW. I punked out and had the Cushings Motorsports do it in Farmington, Maine. Was having them do gummies anyway. Hate changing tires.

Great vids, thanks for the tip. Any update on the Progressive spring rate charts?

Thanks for the reminder. I'll check with the website team.

Do you suggest the straight rate or progressive? Can you comment on the difference?
@slaverace19 ай бұрын
Hello: We offer both types for the '24 PDS chassis. I prefer the progressive because it gives better bottoming resistance. slavensracing.com/shop/shock-springs-17-ktm-excxcw6d/

Have you noticed a tight fitment between the oil fill cap and the Acerbis tank?
@slaverace1 Жыл бұрын
Yes.

I have a 24 XC-W and I have this XC Acerbis 3.2 tank on my bike. I can't access the oil fill cap with the tank on the bike, bummer. The tank fits great but it blocks the cap from being removed. So, you have to loosen the tank up to access the oil fill cap to add 2t oil. A total pain...

Hi Jeff, I’ve been watching your videos for years. Thanks for the great content. I live in Thailand and it is very difficult and expensive to import the euro bikes. I finally am about to buy one though and I have the option of the “Euro spec” EXC300 or the more expensive “US spec” XC-W300. I can’t find much info on the differences. Do you have any info? Thanks a lot.

Sorry, I do not.

What racesag do you recomend on the 2024 PDS ?
@slaverace110 ай бұрын
Hello: KTM's recommended settings are: rider sag 110mm, static sag 38mm. However, I don't use sag measurements on my personal bikes. Stay tuned for an upcoming video on the subject.

Hi Jeff, do you know if that gas tank is available for the 2024 enduro models yet? On the Acerbis website there are no 2024 options yet. Thankyou.

We have Acerbis tanks for all 23 SX/XC/SXF/XCF & TC/TX/FC/FX bikes as well as ALL 24 Models except the oil injected XCW/EXC & TE 150/250/300 TBI. You can use this tank on a oil injected TBI bike like we have here, but note on the oil injected XCWs/TEs you will need to unbolt the tank and lift it up a bit to get the oil fill cap off. Acerbis is working on something but they have told us this for 4 months now.

Hey Jeff. Did that fmf fatty pipe pick up anything in the upper rev range? I have a 24 xcw and it's underwhelming on the top end
@slaverace1 Жыл бұрын
I haven’t completed testing. Yours is “underwhelming “ compared to what? Compared to a previous 300 or a 250? What is your benchmark?
@nickortiz5118 Жыл бұрын
@@slaverace1 compared to my 2019 300 xcw tpi. The torque on the 24 is much better. The engine runs better, but very underwhelming on the top end.
