That GX baby was designed 30 years ago. No ambient light inside :) Its a disaster, cheapest chinese models have it.

I don’t see the beige interior on the options list. Can someone confirm what’s in this video is real? I need lighter, brighter, happier interior color options. To really make it premium ideally, the headliner, doors, and some of the dash would be lighter too.

Looks so boxy! Not a fan but will wait until it is out so I can see. I have had an accident in a 2022 460 and believe after being flipped to our side by T-bone farm truck it is safest car on road. Seems looks like a jeep. I want luxury as well and good ride to say nothing of safety. My husband loves Genesis.....wants that for me but I'm not sold yet. I have a 2022 Lexus 460 Love it. May just keep until it gets to 100000 miles! Then I may not be able to drive - HA...Love Lexus product!

Definitely more off road than before. Not a soccer mom type car anymore. Like the look but not enough luxury inside for a mom car. Aiming for off road more than in town SUV. Glad I went with the standard 2023 GX 460. I didn't see a "woman" engineer among the group!

Surprised the interior is all black plastic - Lexus has always paid attention to the use of wood and luxury materials. Perhaps there's a higher trim level that includes this, vs. the durability of a full off-road vehicle? The vast majority of GX buyers like the blend - the version shown misses the luxury aspect

Expect it to be the differentiating factor between the GX and upcoming refresh/redesign LX. GX550 interior will be more 'utilitarian' whereas the LX will have what you describe with wood, leather etc since that is the flagship SUV

⚠️Major Lexus Engineering North America Market Blunder Apparently the Lexus GX550 has NO rear self leveling air suspension on any trim level which was standard on the Lexus GX460 Luxury and even with the awesome optional off road package of which I want to purchase but no longer available, replaced by the GX550. This is a Major engineering and marketing blunder for the North American Market which is a huge towing market. The recent GX550 towing reviews made an easy decision to order a GMC Yukon with 4 corner air suspension, advanced off road and towing packages with the superior I6 diesel which has superior fuel economy and overall performance.

I have two RX's. One AWD, one FWD. The AWD was nice when we lived in the snowbelt. Now it just uses more gas. I have zero interest in this platform. I don't want a "rugged exterior", I want a vehicle that is whisper quiet at 75 and rides like a dream and has 5 star safety ratings. Lexus is moving in the wrong direction for customers like me, and I believe I have a lot of company.

@@TXJ232 the RX now sports a buzzy turbo with a four banger. I'm not in the market for a new car, when my old RX starts to give me headaches I will probably replace it with a 2020-22 RX. I'm just sad to see the direction the company is headed. But if there is a luxury "off road" market, they will sell.
