Excellent update. This will be a contender when I buy a new SUV. My one suggestion to Lexus would be to make the Mark Levinson sound system an option for every model, or at least for the Premium +, Luxury, and Overtrail models. As it stands now, it is only available on the Luxury +, and there are customers who would be willing to pay for it.

Great information! Thanks for pulling it all together. One parameter I've never seen mentioned is how high the driver's eyes would be above the road surface. I know this would vary based on the driver and how the seat is adjusted but an average figure would be very useful.

Thanks for the comprehensive overview of each trims. Do both front seats have lumbar support for any of the trims? Also does the Overtrail plus have semi aniline leather seats?

For the front seats I could only find you a partial answer. The GX owners manual does mention a lumbar support control switch. What it doesn't say is if that's with the 8-way or 10-way adjustable seat, or both. You can reach out to Lexus and ask them (www.lexus.com/contact) use the "Send Message" button at the very bottom. Ive found they are pretty good at getting back to you. Unfortunately, the Overtrail Plus does NOT offer semi-aniline leather. Thanks for the questions. Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!

I would say thats the earliest. My money would be on late '25 as a '26 model. I haven't seen any test mules but Lexus did hint a that plug in hybrid GX would be coming first.

Don’t understand why they don’t have a hybrid version from the start. 17 mpg is just dumb. Their other new model, the TX, has a hybrid version.

What type of fuel is required?

I find hard to believe the overtrail gets the same mpg as the other models with 33 all terrains

Are seats ventilated for real?

Yes, according the spec sheet several trims get ventilated seats. If your question is do they work well? I'll have to defer and let someone who has owned a Lexus chime in as to how well they cool the seat. Thank you for the question. Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!
