A1) The only models/trims that gave the digital rear view mirror are the Platinum and Hybrid MAX Platinum. A2) Unfortunately it doesnt look like it can be added. The packages for the Grand Highlander are a little sparse, at least at this time. The packages available offer 8 passenger seating or the panoramic roof. I dont see anything for the digital rearview mirror. Wish I had better news. Appreciate the questions. Thank you for dropping in and commenting!

Thanks for the great content! I wanted to ask if the blind spot indicators only provide visual warning signals (blinking) like in older Toyotas, or have they finally added audible warning too (beeping) when a car is in the blind spot.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I dont believe the Grand Highlander can do any EV only miles. The hybrid motor just assists the engine. Thank you for the feedback! There are 2 colors that are available for every trim, black and light gray. The Platinum and Hybrid MAX Platinum also get a color called Portobello that are exclusive to them. You can use the Build and Price configurator on the Toyota website to see the colors. The packages for the Grand Highlander appear a little sparse, at least at this time (just answered this in another question as well) The only package options appear to be for 8 passenger seating or for the panoramic roof. Thank you for the compliments! I'm not a mechanic or an expert but I think that since its a turbo engine it will require more care and maintenance. I'm not seeing any recalls for it so that's good considering some of the other new vehicles out there already have some. Toyota has been pretty reliable and they are using hybrids across a lot of their fleet so I would give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully these will be some reliable engines. Thank you for the feedback! All of the GH's transmissions are electronically controlled. There is a gear select knob/grip to select what gear you want. It is not a rotary control or anything like that. Does that answer your question?

If I understand correctly, the 3rd row can only accommodate 1 child seat with anchors (Right seat) There are 2 tether strap anchors on the 3rd row ( Right and Center seat). The 2nd row can accomodate 2 child seat with anchors on the outboard seats. I hope this answers your question. Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!

@@MtnRoads thanks, yes the second row seats even in much smaller SUVs are equipped with 2 lower-latch systems to accommodate 2 car seats. But from a family perspective, the third row is only functional when it offers 2 lower latches.

I’m trying to decide if I would be happier with the panoramic sunroof on the Platinum Hybrid compared to a lower trim sunroof. Could you tell me how many inches are there from the interior top of the driver side windshield to each sunroof? If they both start at the same point on the roof, I don’t think I really need the panoramic one. Thanks in advance!

My opinion is the Toyota GH will NOT get a v6. Outside of the Tundra/Supra I dont think any other Toyotas will get a V6. That will stay exclusive to Lexus to help seperate the brands. Thats a tough question. I think it boils down to.. are you after amenties or efficiency? With the Platinum you'll be getting everything except the hybrid MAX engine. The MAX Limited will miss out on the Drivers HUD and I think the panoramic roof. The MAX Limited does get better fuel efficiency in the city... but I think its a wash on the hwy. Its definitely something to think about. A small investment in water repellent spray could help. I think there are also some Toyota protection packages you could purchase if you buy the vehicle although I think availability and pricing are dependant on the dealer. Appreciate the question. Thank you for that feedback! To answer your question, for the GH Hybrid Limited the panoramic moonroof is an option and it starts at $1350. Why do the hybrid models have such different gas efficiency. Does that mean the lower end hybrid model has the best mpg efficiency?

Very hard at the moment to find the right grand highlander hybrid with with te desired specs... I guess not many ppl want the bench second row seat or even finding a hybrid Limited is kinda rare.. It's either XLE and Max atm or gas in most cases.

For interior colors, the XLE and Hybrid have Black or Light Gray Softex available. The Limited and Hybrid Limited have Black or Light Gray Leather available. The Platinum has Black, Light Gray or Portobello Leather available. The Hybrid MAX Limited gets Black or Light Gray Leather and Ultrasuede. Finally, the Hybrid MAX Platinum has Black, Light Gray or Portobello Leather and Ultrasuede available. Interior colors will be included in future trim guides. Thank you for the question. Thank you for the feedback! From a quick check the biggest difference is just that the GH has Toyotas latest and greatest. The regular highlander is now a generation behind. Engine is pretty much the same, seating capacity the same... but the GH seems to have better tech and more standard conveniences across the board.

I don't know that I can give you a number, but I would say work with any dealer that doesn't have markups or silly add-ons on top of the MSRP. Every 4 cylinder turbo I have seen in the past requires premium gas. They will never last as long or be as trouble free as the V6, which gets the same amount of MPG and power.
