LX uses hydraulic suspension not air. The GX460 is the one that has optional AHC using air bags but all LXs use hydraulic. Just serviced my hydraulic AHC system on my 2010 LX570 which yes included a hydraulic fluid flush along with accumulator globe replacement. Now rides like new again and I agree that it’s the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven

Correction, the Lexus LX uses a hydraulic suspension not an air suspension. The hydraulic suspension handles offroad abuse way better than air which is why they're ridiculously reliable. My uncle's 1998 LX470's original hydraulic accumulators just started giving him issues with roughly 370,000 miles on it and hes the original owner. These things are tanks.

It does have air suspension. The J300s have the option for air suspension.

Great video JD. I had a Lexus 500LS for 10 years and it only used break pads and filters, did 150,000 miles, fantastic car. Wish I had bought another one. Thanks for sharing

We have a 23 LX600 FSport. The trailer brake controller is on the left side of the driver side dash board. Need a plastic pry bar and open up it. You need to take the 11 or 12mm bolts out and one 10 mm. The trailer brake connector is taped with another wire on the far left. Take it off the tape and have the connector connected to it. We drove with a brake controller and towed without an issue.

I agree with you on the massage seats. We own the ultra luxury, no massage in the front seats nor a wireless charger. Very smooth ride. Being 6.3 tall and long Backes. I fit well in the vehicle.

Our ten year old Lexus has been mechanically flawless. Zero issues, zero! It would be good if the American RV industry got some competition from the Japanese. That would force some quality control for sure.

Since last September, I've owned and driven a 2023 LX 600 F-Sport, which performs flawlessly on the road. I never take it off-road, every day I eagerly anticipate the chance to drive it out of the garage. Great stereo. As for the suspension, the 2023 Lexus LX 600 F Sport doesn't feature air suspension. Instead, it utilizes a coil spring suspension with the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system. This system employs electronically controlled dampers to fine-tune the ride and handling. Although some sources suggest the LX 600 might include hydraulic components in its suspension system, It doesn't constitute a complete hydraulic system.
