It's the dollar to the rand exchange rate 😂😂 e.g $60,000 for a bmw I 2016 was at 1 dollar to 14Rand making it 840,000 in today's rate it's 1.1 million + global inflation. Indeed the GNU must fix this problem for us.

Decided to rent this car for a few days while in Durban recently. Came away from that experience impressed but the pricing doesn't make sense for what is essentially a suped- up Rav-4. Lexus say its supposed to compete with the X5/GLE but that doesn't make sense because it is so much smaller than the other two. Personally, I am hoping they bring the new GX to SA. That car at R1,6m would do some serious damage to the X5/GLE segment.
