Cayenne all the way if I had the money for the maintantance as well, otherwise on a tight budget I'd get a Lexus RX, if wanna be fancy I'd get a slightly used RR Sport But my preference is still Cayenne

Benz lost the plot when they discontinued the ML for this. The ML was so much more classier, sexier than the replacement GLE. The biggest difference in the two can be seen in the AMG variants of both. Anyway about this, it is over priced. X5 3.0d for me all day long. Thanx for your vids, en your singing has improved by 3.74% from last vid. LOL.

Absolutely agree with you. How does Mercedes justify that 2M price tag? Also it might not be a good idea to purchase this one considering how quickly it depreciates in value. I'm also disappointed with the power plant they decided to go with. They could have have atleast mated it with a 3L v6. I mean... the car is big!

The GLE has always been a dream for me but after 2023 i was like nah its not worth it. Nna personally I'd rather go for Volvo XC60 T8 Twin Engine or a BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport 👌🏻

What Mercedes is banking on here is that in this section of the market, the people buying the vehicles know what they want and are brand loyal. In that, if they are going for the GLE, this is not their first Mercedes and they have most likely owned another one down the product lineup and are now brand loyal and moving up the brand as their pockets grow. Additionally, this side of the market is not one for the price-conscious, and most people making purchases already know what they want and are not willing to compromise. Yes, we can make arguments, about the X5, Cayenne, and XC90 being cheaper and giving you more, but ultimately, if I want a Mercedes SUV and I have the money, I'm not going to compromise, because I've worked too hard to not get what I want - that is the customers logic

Mercedes has become too plasticky for my liking as of late. The quality has been declining in their recent models compared to their competitors and predecessors. A V-class is no different, an expensive people mover with a 2.0L diesel, V220d, 250 and 300d all use the same engine. Rather get an X5 for similar price with a 3.0L 6 cylinder diesel, or Discovery, RR Sport. At that price it must be a 6 cylinder for me.

The VW Tuareg offers 80% of what this has to offer. The other 20% mostly lies in the fact that the Tuareg is not a Merc. It's cheaper too. Mercedes-Benz truly no longer has real value proposition. We're buying the brand more than we are buying a good car, that's value for money.
