Out of curiosity, what drives the differences in headroom between several of the models?

Unfortunately, those are not available for the TX 550. If you are after that combination you would need to look at the TX 350 Premium or TX 350 Luxury. Sorry I don't have have better news. Thank you for the question. Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!

Does the Luxury level come with 22 inch wheels? Also, does the 2nd row offer ventilated seats (cool air)? What is the main difference between the Premium and Luxury? Which would you recommend? Also, when will the recall be lifted? Thanks!!

22 inch wheels and ventilated captains chairs are available as options for the TX350 Luxury, the TX500 Luxury and TX550 Luxury do get both of those standard. There are too many to list and I would suggest looking at the Lexus TX website. As for the recall I think things are getting back to normal, but definitely check with you local dealer. The GH ride does not compare to the TX. TX is much more comfortable and quiet on the road.

I have my TX on the way to the dealership now. So excited. There are q frw details on your breakdown that I think are inaccurate but things cluld jave changed in five months or the features i speak of are add ons and nkt standard. Either way, your video was cery informative. The maysayers wont get what Lexus was going for until they sit in one and drive it. I was looking at other vehicles but once I test drove this car i couldnt stop thinking about it. I feel the 7 seat version is the luxury family hauler I have been looking for. I was told that Lexus designed this car from the third row on forward vs 1st row going back. And it shows. There is plenty of room and accessories for all. Well except that 2nd row middle bench seat. Thats for a smaller person. Christmas came early for me this year 😊😊😊

I finally heard from Lexus. Both the and 8 and 10 way seats have Seat Position adjustment, Seat Cushion Angle adjustment, Vertical Height adjustment and Seatback Angle adjustment. The 10 way seat adds a Seat Cushion Length adjustment. You can look at the online owners manuals and Lexus referenced this: "We performed research and found under “before driving” the front seats adjustment procedure in the owner’s manual on page number 131 for the TX 500h with 8 way adjustable seat. And found under “before driving” the front seats adjustment procedure in the owner’s manual on page number 189 for the TX 550h+ with 10 way adjustable seat." I hope this helps.

This is taken directly from the TX owners manual - "Select premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 (Research Octane Number of 96) or higher required for optimum engine performance and fuel economy. If the octane rating is less than 91, damage to the engine may occur and may void the vehicle warranty. At minimum, the gasoline you use should meet the specifications of ASTM D4814 in the U.S.A." My wife and I have been buying Toyotas and Lexus products since year 2000 and they all had the bulletproof 3.5 litre. Why mess with success I say. I won’t be buying another Highlander or RX350 which we currently own with the four cylinder. And I’ve heard horror stories when it comes to the cost of replacing the hybrid battery. The common complaint I hear is the four cylinder is noisy in such a large vehicle.I don’t get it, they are still offering the 3.5 litre in the Lexus ES350 for 2024. Which I’ve owned as well.

The reason Toyota and Lexus phase out the 3.5L V6 is due to emission standards unfortunately. Also, you shouldn’t worry much about hybrid battery now because recently I have heard that the price started to get cheaper and cheaper compared to when they first came out. Also, the TX 550h+ has the 3.5L V6 engine that works in the plug-in hybrid system. However, that TX will be so much more expensive to buy. You should take a look and then consider whether you would like the TX 550h+ or not.

I have a 2010 rx450h with 275k miles on it . I live in wisconsin, so it sees temps of -15 - 105. I have the original battery, and have never had issues with it. I wouldn't be worried about replacing the expensive battery, as it is more rare then you may think.
