As a previous owner of an LG B10 I will say that LG's B series OLED's are very underrated and are very good tv's for the money. And seeing your review of the B4 just proves that in my opinion Paul. Great review my friend.

for what I can tell for the lg b/c9 series, the c series was definitely worth the small price increase. The webos with my c9 is just fast enough but shouldn't be any slower. The b9 with the lower tier processor might have been too slow in this regard (the processor was basically the only difference). Today it doesn't matter than much anyway I assume

Maybe, picked up a b3 last year for extended family. Didn’t last a day in the house I returned it immediately and picked a Samsung s89c at the time and it was leaps and bounds better. The b series should be significantly cheaper than it is, super dim, weird bugs. Honestly you’d be better off just buying a nice mini led tv over the b series. That’s just my opinion though.

got this a few days ago it is a great tv but lacks a bit of bass, which is expected compared to my old CX. you need to adjust the picture settings to make sure it shines at its best if you did not you can notice a wahsed up colors fiddle a little on the warmth to make sure to get natural tone as wll at black levels

Always been a Samsung man , had the neo qled 94a for a few years and considering it wasn't a oled the blacks were fantastic , as was the brightness .... Went to get the newest neo qled qn90d the other day but for some reason I went with my first oled , lg C4 .... My god I've been converted ! The C4 is ridiculously good , although the geezer in the shop said this was a good budget option

I wanted the same Samsung you looked at because I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and wanted Samsung Dex on TV. But I found the 48 inch B4 for £548. Couldn't turn it down. The Samsung Neo QLED I was looking at cost nearly £200 more.

A real bargain to look out for in the black friday sales! I picked up a 65" B4 last week for £940 direct from LG, swapping over from a Samsung s95b 55" which was sold for nearly the same amount. The brightness drop is noticeable but for the screen size "upgrade" it's a worthy trade - really impressed so far with what an entry-level B series provides this year. Excellent value for money and when the price difference between the C4 becomes a few hundred £ in a sale, then I see it as a highly recommended model to consider - especially if you don't need to worry too much about a well-lit room.

The only warning you need to hear about the B4 is that it uses the previous generation panel, and it is more susceptible to burn in as demonstrated by the rtings long term testing. It’s a very good tv for the price, but just something you should be aware of.

Just buy a C4 at the best price you can find on black friday. Enough brightness for a sunlit room and punchy but not over saturated colors. If you want the extra brightness go for the G4 but prepare for about 1000€ more. I wouldnt opt for a samsung s95d if you are looking at the price range of g4 as the quantum dots have a lifespan of ~10000 hours, you get a worse menu and crappy firmware updates as well as a vastly inferior panel uniformity and finally brightness and oversaturated colors that will scorch your eyes.

LG 4K TVs are crap. They don't hold a candle to my Samsung 1080p TV. They make my 1080p Blu-Ray look like garbage with their upscale picture, unlike my Samsung 1080p TV that delivers true, unadulterated 1080p picture quality. LG TVs are just overpriced pieces of junk."
