I was told you were never supposed to lay the TV on the front end, always front facing up, because how thin and sensitive the screen is. They might not be totally right, but that sounds logical to me… Nice review! I just bought one two weeks ago at 50% off from a store that was closing down for good.

@@MrLuffy9131 Read the directions. The styrofoam contents allow the tv to be upright but elevated, allowing for the stand to be attached.

Just watch your unboxing of the C4 77" watching the main area of video @ 4:10 the back side of the TV base the silver metal cover should be installed. My grandson had removed it while I was absent and when I returned I didn't realize it until the TV was now sitting on it at the furniture stand and the silver metal was on the sofa. Thank you for showing that area.

Watching this on my LG C1. I also went 77” due to the crazy price bump for 6 inches. Moved my old 65” Panasonic Viera (flagship from back in the day) to the bedroom. Not sure what changed from C1 -> C4 but I love this TV. Movies are great and gaming is tremendous.

Just upgraded my master bedroom LG OLED 55C9 to the 65C4. Improvement in every category over the C9. The 65C4 was almost the same price of my 55C9 purchased back in 2020. The C4 is the latest to the OLED stable with a 55C1, 77C1, and 48C2 in other rooms. Haven't fully broke-in yet to compare apple-to-apples to my older OLEDs just yet.

I’m curious on why can’t we get more than 4 HDMI 2.1 on newer tvs? I for sure would love 5/6 hdmis. I use a hdmi switch for my other devices but of course makes it less clean as I’d prefer my set up. But beside that, I love the design of the tv but I wish LG could switch up WebOS, tv brands should allow personal themes, it looks too dull for my liking, I still have my 55inch CX which the layout isn’t too bad, compared to the C1 and up, of course my preference.

Great video! For the Tv stand/table you put the TV on (that you use two pieces for here). What is the recommended size of this table, so the TV sits sturdily? And how do you go about deciding if you want the stand table higher or lower to the ground. We have reclining armchairs (in terms of sitting height vis a vis the TV's location). Thanks!

I would never lay my tv on the screen. The box Styrofoam gave you the ability to keep the TV upright but elevated, allowing for the stand to be attached.

Imagine you are alone and have to mount this on a VESA Stand ... It was a real challange but it worked. Got mine for 2000 EUR because it was sent back and had allegedly a "1cm to 1cm defect on the front". I packed it out... no display safety foil, several scratches on the display but very light ones. But I was able to polish out most of it... so at last it was a deal.

Due to a recent update the screen saver has stopped working on my 77 inch G3. Many online complaints from others experiencing the same issue on LG OLEDs. No response from LG as to if or when a fix is coming.

I have the C4 65in. I really love the picture. Probably one of the best I’ve owned. He’s right about the sound. My 2018 Samsung Q70 sounds way better with nice bass. My main complaint is the menus lag really bad when accessing it. A little underwhelming for an expensive TV but I’d prefer a beautiful picture over slow responding menus. I’d give the TV a solid 8.5 out of 10.
