As always, you do such a good job in presenting these boats. Great salesmanship.

My money would be with you John. Out of those boats I would be getting the Robalo.

Nice CC boats & thanks for showing us around John! Personally, I would take that Tidewater with the T-top! BTW, I owned the same exact Maycraft boat that you mentioned in the video. That 115 Yamaha is a great reliable engine and hard to beat! 👍👍🛥🛥

Love the boat show videos especially when I'm in the market for a 17-21 CC. Thank you Jigging Jerk lol.

If the 20k was available I’d go for the tidewater being t top, & 150, but for 40k that robalo is reallllly hard to beat

I love my 2020 Keywest 176cc with Yamaha 115 and T-Top. I wanted something I can manage easily and nothing over 18’ gets me to all my fishing spots. Spot lock is game changer to anyone who is fishing.

I wish manufacturers built more 17 to 18s. Margins are small on these smaller boats unfortunately

@ the other thing I’m seeing is more center console catering to family layouts and less for fisherman. It’s one reason I chose my boat.

You can get the Parker without the forward box.

Probably the robalo out of all the choices. Not a fan of the euro transom but i could live with it. Manufactuers can pack a lot of nice sounding options into a little boat but if the wiring is shotty from the start its really not worth the price. Most of the time they get away with it too. The only way theyll up their game is if reviewers report what they observe when reviewing these new boats, that'll wake.em up.

I've reviewed the 25 in the past. Hopefully they will be at one of the Florida boat shows I'm attending

That Parker was the SE, not the “tried & true” 1801, which would be substantially cheaper and my choice for an 18’. No front seating & smaller console allows more room to fish and move around. Some guys run them 40+ miles out.
@jiggingjerks2 ай бұрын
Yup. Is the 1801 still in production or is this replacing it? You're basically my Parker expert Tim lol
@timrudy43592 ай бұрын
@ lol I wouldn’t go that far. But I just looked at their website and don’t see the 1801 anymore. I thought they were continuing them. It’s a real shame if they did discontinue that model. But I see how 2 18 foot models doesn’t make much sense.
