Join along as colburn and I venture over to the 2024 plow day put on by Macfadden & Sons. With spotty weather the rain date turned out to be a good one and we are able to turn some dirt as a good group. Thanks for watching along.

Plowing is very 1969. 😂😂. But yeah nothing even compares to a Kverneland (or an Overum) blue if they're set right even in heavy sod every furrow is so even the looking across the field you shouldn't be able to tell if it was plowed with the 3 bottom or a 6 bottom Kverneland rollover is the Cadillac of plows.
@peteparker739615 күн бұрын
@@Otherrandomguy42rollovers and semi mount one ways are so 1969. Onland switch plows are where it’s at. Nothing compares with the way they roll over the dirt. Run it through whatever kind of sod, stubble, doesn’t matter. You won’t see any of it. And levelness of a moldboard is all about how you set it. We moldboard several thousand acres of peanuts every year. And dry land cotton ground.

We started out with two 615 LSA Fendts, unbreakable tractors and simple by today's standards.... they had the MWM 6 cylinder engine that could 25K hours plus without being touched, we bought a 311 two years which ran an accord/kuhn drill, and power harrow combination. Ploughing with 6 furrow reversible rabe ploughs on the 615s you got a lot done in a day compared to tilling and sowing separately

When you trailer any turbo equipped piece of equipment you should always tape the exhaust cap down to protect the turbo, as it can spin with no lubrication.
