Good call, Bowtech, dropping that guy and Tim!! Haha. I understand it is big business, but was it really that big of a deal to have a female, male, and senior champion? If they were looking for more of a social media presence, then that is a conversation they should have had with Tim and Kyle. "We need you to do more...." Anyhow, great shot, guys, and great coverage. Keep up the great work!!

Yea I went from really liking bowtech and was considering them for another bow. Now I cant stand them. They are a slimy company, at the executive level anyways. They also just put Athens out of business. I realize their tuning system was similar, but because it was bowtech stomping out a small company, it doesn't sit well with me. They seem to have no issue hurting others for a fast buck. The Archery community isn't big enough to be ripping through it like they think they can. The leaders at bowtech belong somewhere like washington d.c, not archery, lol. Mathews and Hoyt seem to be able to make great bows and treat their staff well and still put money and effort into the archery world. PSE and Elite as well. Seems like old blowtech cant stay out of their own way.

@Matt-jl8xf agree! I have shot a Bowtech bow dating back to the 82nd. Airborne and have been brand loyal. But they are not the same company now. They basically drove Athens out of business, but not too many years ago, they were involved in their own lawsuit. 24+ patent infringements with Mathews over a 6+ year period. Mathews won the case in 2020. I won a PSE Levitate last year shooting at an iron buck, and I have to say I love it. I also have an SR350. I'm not sure going forward how brand loyal I will be!! It is hard to support a company that doesn't support its people.

@@v.hillegass4351 Absolutely. My first bow was a bowtech and I really liked them. They were one of my top 2 favorite bow companies... but a company's ethics does play a role in what products I'm going to buy. I do a lot of biking too and when a company does some dirty business, I just can't bring myself to buy their products. Same for archery. There are just way too many good products being made nowadays to be stuck supporting a slimy company. I actually won a Mathews and fell in love with the feel of them. I was never a mathews fan, but after shooting them I couldn't deny them any longer. The fact that they brought in Tim and Kyle after they already had their yearly contracts sorted out was a big positive in my books. I still have one PSE left and its a shooter... They are doing good things and I will have my eye on them for my next hunting bow. Good luck!

Love the rain element that this weekend had. Wish it was that way for the shoot off so we could see them having to battle the elements. I’m probably in the minority but I wish they’d do away with the umbrellas for the sun AND rain. I love compound and hate to compare it to other types of archery, but you’d think if people were going to allow umbrellas it would be for recurve not compound. PS: we need a flamingo target.
