Very capable and incredibly fast for a saloon car. Brillant engine and gearbox. Practical. A car you can use every day without a problem and your average driver would not necessarily realise what it is and what it has under the bonnet.

@@bartbart6545 W/P ratio between both cars is very similar (2.7 kg/hp for amg, 2.8 kg/hp for m5cs) we should also consider that AMG's Hybrid system gives its full power (200hp) only for 10 seconds and then it gives half of its power after that (100 hp) so the amg runs at 740hp after 10 seconds according to official AMG Website

I worship fast internal combustion powerplants. This one moves amazing defying laws of gravity with just a 4.0v8 considering its a barge it needs lot of boost. Seems the sweetspot is about 5500rpm and to redline. An impressive pimpmobile❤❤😂

I have a 2021 C63S and I've only used launch control a few times, but today I tried to engage it and it gave me an error. I think it said launch mode not possible. Any ideas what causes this to shut down? Engine temps were in the low 160s.

This Car isnt significantly faster then an M5 comp 2019. The M5 will do 0-190 in the same time the Merc does 0-200 kph, 9.1 seconds. Afterall it has about 200hp more but all of it is from the hybrid system. It also weighs 2500kg. 650kg more then the M5. I think if the M5 is a hybrid it will probably be in the mid 700hp range but a lot lighter then the Merc. So it will be interesting, if its not faster then the Merc it also wont be much faster then the current M5 or basically the same.

It is odd though, these hybrid system seem to add an extra 1kg for every 1hp they add, seems kind of pointless in the end. Perhaps performance hybrids work better on sports/super cars which are significantly lighter.

The bmw m8 is faster than this gt63s e performance on launch but not 1/4 mile and like top speed but it’s because that amg made or updated their new engines to hybrid with more power and torque to their new cars, bmw hasn’t done that yet but I think the new hybrid m5 and m8 are gonna destroy all these mercs it’s also crazy how with the Mercedes new hybrid engine they are not that much faster than the m5 and m8 but the point I’m trying to make here is Mercedes made their hybrid fast cars and bmw hasn’t so now we are waiting for bmws new hybrid m cars to come out with more power and torque so then we’ll see how fast they are. Also the new c63s hybrid does the 1/4 mile in 11.2 and the current bmw m3 g80 does it in 11.0 which is mind blowing

compared it to a video I have of my 2018 SL63, where I took it to 270kmh....... The GT definetly beats it by a bit.. not huge but yes its faster, and the 100-200 time I had with my car was 7.45 seconds, so yes its faster than my SL..

M5 CS appeared at 2020 GT 63 Se Performance Appeared at 2021 M5 Cs 100-200 time is 6.69 sec M5 Cs 200-250 time is 6.94 sec GT63 se Performance 100-200 time is 6.23 sec GT63 se Performance 200-250 time is 5.53 sec from 200-250 the difference is huge (about 1.4 seconds) W/P ratio between both cars is very similar (2.7 kg/hp for amg, 2.8 kg/hp for m5) we should also consider that AMG's Hybrid system gives its full power (200hp) only for 10 seconds and then it gives half of its power after that (100 hp) so the amg runs at 740hp after 10 seconds according to official AMG Website
