A near 1cr car not getting ventilated seats which a car like tata punch offers is quite extreme level of cost cutting. Removing the rear screens and rear control tablet was okay but this is seriously quite unacceptable.

I am upset that the host brushed off the lack of ventilated seats as a no-need feature. At 1 crore I want a guy fanning me at all times xD not to mention the missing air suspension. Benz doesn't respect the Indian consumer even a bit.

BMW 5 series LWB also uses the same 225/55 R18 which is on the New E class, it’s just the alloy wheel design of Benz masks its size well.

The reviewer is going gaga about the car and not highlighting the negative points. Looks more like a marketing video than a true review. What I as a customer would have wanted 1) Ventilated seats. This is absurd not having it. 2) Where is Adaptive CC? Unbelievable! 3) HUD is needed. 4) Air suspension, please. What they should remove 1) Selfie camera doesn't help. Could have kept voice or fingerprint for ID.

Lack of adaptive dampers is a big miss. Bounciness at speed is hardly a luxurious feeling. True adaptive dampers (not the fake ones like this "selective damping") give better comfort AND better road holding. A true win win, but all Mercedes has chosen to give are those stupid gizmos which are not the true E character that you spoke so much about.

BMW 5 series has more comfort in rear than E class. 3 people can sit comfortably than 2 in E class. By around 6 lakh rs less than E class , 5 series gets 1. Matrix Led High Beam 2. Illuminated Kidney grill 3. More Engine power and torque 4. More ADAS features 5. Front Ventilation seats 6. Rear Tablet points 7. Better Interior quality I think 5 series as a whole package has more value for money than E class.

e class also has e450 variant which is 6 cylinder and makes 380 bhp. Idk which 5 series makes more power in India ? It doesnt even have blinds at the rear and looks like an absolute pig.

I agree, 5 series does offer some good features. It should not have skipped the rear blinds, and must have added some more controls for rear passenger (mostly a feel good feature I feel). It also misses air suspension, HUD and massager which is there in Global variant. That cabin camera is pointless, BMW could have saved some cost there. I think Merc trumps with that Super screen which just dazzles the user right away. I am sure it'll not be a super useful feature for long term, but that super screen single handedly lifts the interior multiple notches above.
