Soft closing door is an available option. At least now. Btw in Europe this car costs the same to lease as an equally equipped diesel.

Really good Review and thanks for pointing out all the details on the interior. What's holding me up from buying one of these is the range and charging hours. I do a lot of long drives, I personally just can not justify buying an electric car. Plus the prices are sky high and depreciation is so high, the moment you leave the lot, these SUV's loose $50,000. So until they can bring the price down to normal vehicles, just can't do it.

Not sure, still couldn’t find heated steering wheel separate from the seat ones in the climate menu

Heated steering is in climate menu Edit: Heated for rear is in winter package for USA along with heated wiper nozzles and heated windscreen

Serious question here, are you sure there is not a small stalk for it on the left side of the steering wheel? Took me a month or three to figure it out in my old E class.

The current quality of Mercedes models interiors is extremely poor at the moment. I recently visited a dealer to test drive the EQB. This would be my first Mercedes purchase - although I had been in several older S class cars. While at the dealer, I had a good look around the EQA, EQE and S class. The plastics and switchgear are literally the same on all models. Sure the Hyperscreen and certain leathers makes some models look nice, but they certainly don’t justify the huge price difference between say a EQB and an S Class.

What a hunk of crap. Mercedes has fallen off a cliff with this current generation. Very disappointing!
