6:13 you mistaped home button since it's not physical and it's harder to aim, because it's not possible to place finger on button (for aiming purpose) before actually pressing button itself. That's why driver should watch where goes the finger, and that is a huge distraction from road. That is sad. I wonder if that distraction already caused that accident, which lead to front bumper being replaced (which seems to be visible on 01:50, 02:02, 02:04, etc. - color of front bumper differs from other car parts).

Okay, first - if you have a great-sounding 6cyl why do you need the fake noise? Second, the interior, while clearly better quality than the new C-class has no architecture like the w213. All new MB models interiors are missing soul that they had the prior gen. Technology is great but not gimmicks (tiktok camera???? wtf). Based on my experience with the current S & C, it doesn't even look like MB is making build quality or material quality improvements. I'm glad Piano Black is not the default option on the center console, but I wont be upgrading my 2018 E400 coupe until they get rid of the capacitive touch and piano black on the door cards (hopefully in the facelift). The 213 E class does everything this does except rear wheel steering. I am a tech enthusiast and appreciate a great screen but have no desire for this BS. Ideally, MB would blend the tech with luxury like they used to - nice metal buttons. The tech should be integrated into the design, not the whole design.

@@mattiasburgemann2735 my bother is a mechanic for a Mercedes dealership so they let me go play with all the new cars when they get them. I have a bunch of experience in the new eqe, eqs, c, s, sl. Mercedes is using the same or similar interior components with varying levels of soft-touch and hard-touch surfaces. It all looks and feels worse than last generation. I would say that I have plenty of perspective to adequately judge this w214 e class. It’s garbage but not as garbage as the eqe and c class.

Nice - but what a shame the classy grille with upright star on the bonnet will not be offered in the USA. Very disrespectful for MB to produce it, but not offer it - especially in the USA (not even as a special order option). Definite deal-breaker for many. But I'm sure MB has figured they will make up any such lost US E Class sales in China.

Can’t you see that people do not want to look to the center part of the dashboard to see how fast they’re traveling? There’s a very good reason speed and other important information is displayed directly in front of the driver and not in the middle. The doors and the metal armrest pieces are superb to keep the surfaces clean from grime and oils. You write as though they just slap together pieces - how naive.

HATE the interior. There is a reason why MB is going high tech. It costs so much less to produce! No more thousands of engineering hours, getting all those dash components to properly fit. Now, it's simply a digital representation of a proper tactile dash.The new line up of interiors are very cheap looking. Once the bud falls off the rose, the new cars will turn out to be a huge fail for MB.
