I own this vehicle and I get 55-60 miles on a full charge not the 48 she states. Great vehicle. Quiet, comfortable & and fun to drive.

@@decidocisum At this price point, that should not be an option or part of some unnecessary package. It’s a shame you get that on a Hyundai Palisade or Mazda CX-90, but has to be optioned on for a $70k Mercedes.

Great review, Lyn. I have the 2022 E450 All-Terrain Wagon and the 2024 GLE450. Both of these "450" products obviously have the Inline-6 turbo engine with the 48V electric mild hybrid system. When I saw the GLE450e, I was really interested in it, until I realized that it had the Turbo 4 cyl, alongside the electric motor....I wish the 450e had the Inline-6 Turbo, instead of the Turbo-4. Effectively, this is a GLE350e (the 350's 4-cylinder gas engine with electrification) and IMHO, the term GLE450e is a misnomer.

Incredible interior! I'm truly blown away, and wondering how to rob Fort Knox. MB committed the ultimate Lyn-Sin with that sun visor though. Maybe only drive it during an eclipse (today is April.08.2024) haha. Loved this review. Lyn is a riot! 😆

My new GLE 450e has a serious safety issue. Picked up my new 2024 GLE 450e with 8 miles on it on 6/26/24. Inspection at pickup was unremarkable. WIthin two hours, with 16 miles on it, the hood latch alarm activated. Visual inspection showed right side of hood was raised about 1/4 inch above fender. Drove directly to dealer, and service tech opened and closed hood, commenting on the light lever feel. Drove in parking lot with tech and the hood unlatched on its own. I now have a loaner, and the future of this car is yet to be determined. How did this car pass inspections at the factory and at the dealer?

I can appreciate Genesis for including things like 3D Gauge Cluster, Digital Key, Digital Rearview Mirror (Facelift model), Power Folding/Reclining 2nd Row, Bang & Olufson Audio, Nappa Leather, Ventilated Rear Seats, Remote Smart Park and Carpeted Front Wheel Wells. Some of these aren’t even available on the GLE.
