I know I’m middle aged because I’m at a point where the idea of a boring, super practical and efficient car that just makes my life easy is actually extremely appealing. My back and knees hurt too much for sports cars these days. But this thing looks awesome!

That's me. I had a Mustang GT all tuned up and was amazing. I got tired of everyone wanting to race me or try to intimidate me. At my age, I said I had fun, but I want to just drive and relax. So, I bought a Lexus ES350.

There is something all-around amazing about the Camry's perseverance all of these decades later. The fact that Toyota refreshes and upgrade it while maintaining the true core of it's existence is quite "boringly" impressive. 🙃

The color-matched grille looks a lot better than the standard black grille. Fuel economy is insane, to boot. The average person should be buying this rather than a shitty CUV with significantly worse gas mileage.

I have the entry level LE without the sun/moon roof, which from videos that have seen, takes away some headroom in the rear seats. I am 75, and even though I have problems with movement in my legs, I find this vehicle easier to enter and exit than my 2008 Camry/Solara. I did buy the Convenience Package, to get a power driver seat. I have more legroom in the driver's seat than I have had on any previous Camry. The front seats give me plenty of personal space all around. You won't be sorry that you purchased one. The dealership said there is plenty of legroom with the standard non-power seat, but I wanted to be safe! I have not been getting the rated 51 mpg in my local trips though. I have been averaging between 53 to 61 mpg. I received it on October 18th and only had to get gas once. Still showing nearly 400 miles range remaining on this tank of fuel. The dealership would not tell me how much fuel they put in it at delivery, but the window sticker listed 6 gallons of fuel included. I hope that the gas stations don't miss me, I sure don't miss them!

I just bought an XSE AWD 2 weeks ago, and to address a couple other comments here: I’m 6’2” and have no size issues at all, except in that “5th seat” in the rear. There is no sunglasses holder when you opt for the panoramic roof (which I did). If you get a regular sunroof or no sunroof, there is a sunglasses holder. FYI, I replaced a 2009 Acura TL and see no downsides with this Camry, except: no memory seats/mirrors with XSE, only with XLE. Go figure. Higher cost, less features. My first hybrid and love how you can gamify your fuel efficiency with decent data and eco-feedback on your driving habits. No lie, I just went to my local CVS and back and got 64 mpg, by driving the low speed limit through town in Eco drive mode and using EV mode in the neighborhood and parking lots. (EV/all battery mode will automatically switch to gas when you hit 20 mph.) No regrets after about 800 miles on this car. Like Lyn says, if you can, go for the wider displays and AWD. Also got emblem blackouts on this Heavy Metal color… looks sharp, as much as a Camry can be. Lastly, as far as other minor beefs, the center console is huge, so I got a 3rd party console insert that fits like a glove and neatens up that big storage space; and the standard trunk light is so weak, they’ll sell you a LED one that is super bright… and there’s no pull handle to close the manual trunk. So, all in all, as close to perfect as you can expect.

Love the new Camry. Gorgeous. This Blue is my favorite color in the new Camry and I would get the light color interior and XLE trim with that cozy plush patterned cloth on the doors and dash I love it. These really are great vehicles. My Grandma bought her 2003 Toyota Camry LE new with a few options back in 2003 and has had it 22 years now and it is still her daily driver with about 175,000 miles on it lol. I wish she could get a new car but man it has lasted her.

Great Review! I have watched a lot of 2025 Camry reviews and I do not remember anyone addressing the stopping in 4th gear and requiring a manual downshift before taking off?? This is a “light up” comment about my 2011 Camry purchased new. 135,000 miles with original brakes and regular oil changes and maintenance are making this car seem to last forever! I am very glad my kids replaced the standard radio and CD player with a Kenwood player with CarPlay for my multiple cross country trips! My 32 Hwy MPG may seem meager compared to this 2025 Camry, but with an 18 gallon tank, I can drive all day on one tank of gas! Might be the same range on the smaller gas tank and the higher MPG on this 2025? Seems like the 2024 gas Camry 2.5L advertised 39 MPG Hwy, so the upgrade to 2025 hybrid adds about 6 MPG on the AWD version.

Yes even the LE is solid....lowest price, lightest weight, best EPA mileage, one of the quickest to 60, and the smoothest riding with its smaller wheels. I like the XLE except for the cloth on the leather. Have a CRV Hybrid and would not want to get the Accord as Honda cheapened both by eliminating the spare tire, temp gauge, tire pressure monitoring that shows each tire, and here in the U.S. all 2025 Hondas only have one complimentary maintenance. Only advantage is Accord trunk is bigger. I 'd go with the Camry. Thanks for good video.

These are great cars for an entry or base trim. However, if you add all the stuff you like it’ll cost about $43k or more! Now you’re at the price point of a Volvo S60, BMW 3 series or even maybe a Lexus 350. Anyway the Base LE is nice but you’ll miss- power seats, garage door opener, heated seats and steering wheel, larger gauge displays larger screen, better styling etc etc . The base car is nice but the XSE is better but it’s $43k. I think a Volvo S60!offers more and it’s clearly more luxury. Also look at the BMW 3 series and the X1.

I had the bade car as a loaner while my Toyota was being maintenance. I really wasn’t a fan of the interior. Very plastic and fit and finish was not that great to my eye. Also the material that used reminded me of a plastic rope weave. The stereo knob was as small as hell. Not a fan. Also noticed the non-existent sun glass holder and the front middle vents really weren’t that adjustable. Took a long time to cook the interior down during the hot summer heat even between doing errands. Interior got hot really quick and took a long time to cook it down. So I felt I was always sweating. Didn’t get the mog reported as well. I do drive aggressively, but expect to not have to drive at slower speeds just to get the mpgs.

Except the Crown looks more bizarre and possibly less appealing by looks alone compared to a Camry. The space difference is not wildy different. My 2009 Honda Accord is like a Goonie, never say die!

I had a 2007 Honda Accord V6 EX-L that had no major problems and the handling was stellar. I did pull the trigger and buy the 2025 Toyota Camry LE. While the Camry LE doesn't handle quite as well as the Accord the ride is remarbly tied down I never want for power when accelerating.

@@Cap683 -- I've been looking at the 2025 Camry SE or Honda Civic Coupe. The new design on the Accord is so dull!

For some people absolutely, the V6 was a great engine. But lots of people just opt for the base or the basic transportation variant so this new one is pretty darn good for the vast majority who want that.

The 2.5L dynamic force engine is one of the noisiest I’ve ever heard. The old 2.5L I4 w 178hp was a lot quieter and more refined. Oddly better sounding too

@@naveenthemachine does that have anything to do with my comment? I'm sure it may be noisier, but I was largely just fine piloting a RAV4 Hybrid with that same engine for 750 miles. I did not feel like I necessarily needed the cabin to be quieter as conversations and such were not impeded at all.

Too bad I don’t fit. I sat in all four trims hoping I could at least fit in one without the sunroof. Nope. 👎

What's up with the bad sheet metal work around the front door handles? Every Camry I see, even last gen has bad sheet metal around the front door handles. Looks like amaturr body work. Would never buy one just because of that shoddy work.
