Mercedes-Benz used to be only introduce ground breaking new technology in every new S-Class generation. Since a few year they have introduced new technology almost in every new generation model.
I drive a GLC with AMG package and a GLE. The latter is a special design one-of-one MercBenzKing Edition. The videos are online on the channel.

Good enough for first iteration of facelift, excited to see next year’s options 2025 model and improvements from this one.. ;-) Interior doesn’t look much changed over prefl gle63s or am I wrong? * fl has mbux version 2 which also means bigger carplay (with a twist, they will also get carplay clusters in a later update which we wont get with MBUX 1), better gfx overall and stronger gpu chip so the UI/UX is even less choppy * mbux version 2 design overall looks a bit of downgrade from version 1 or maybe im just not used to it yet * offroad view looks cool on the new mbux, dont have it on mbux 1 Exterior is nearly the same as well for 63 besides the lights which look cool but will need some time to get used to.. for now, not sure if its worth the upgrade.

I like the face lift and the new tech, but I have to say I'm not a fan of the steering wheel. The previous model was better, in my opinion.

I don't know why I prefer the facelift GLE over the pre facelift. Has that more menacing stare, not to mention the pre facelift GLE 63 was already menacing with those 2 black lines on the front grills.

I think the same! The lights of the previous generation are superior in compression with these four dots now and I personally prefer the old steering wheel with one console design and not these four "sticks" now.

On the bottom is not a rear bumper, that's a rear diffuser. It's separate from rear bumper

Mercedes should have added carbon fiber on the exterior in front, rear spoiler, on the mirrors and the rear. Maybe the hood as well and more carbon fiber on the interior without going overboard.
