The coupe version looks so much better than the boring normal GLE63s. The tail lights fits it perfectly, better than the funny GLE tail lights.

Oh, by the way, I agree with you on the screens on the EQ versions. This traditional view of screens, reminds me of the reception the CLS 2nd Gen. got after the swooping, sensual curves of CLS Gen 1, being badly missed. However, eventually you see the beauty after you get used to it. Perhaps, you and I, will like the hyper-screens in the future. As you mentioned they need to sort out the distracting reflections. It’s strange that they still went with the hyperscreen despite the bright sunlight reflections.

I worked there and I screwed the middle console and the rear thing ( Klima hinten haben wir’s genannt) I can promise you somebody forgot a screw and the after quality control didn’t noticed it :)

So Thomas, I know it is not 'Thomas blue' so what do you think of the colour overall? You said it makes boring cars even more boring, so i am curious where you stand, I have a C class wagon with AMG sport body pkg and night pkg in that colour, did I make the right choice or not? I wanted originally iridium silver but everyone says that is too dated and old looking so I went with the Mojave silver.

I don’t understand why they got rid of the full screen Apple CarPlay. It was a bit strange when I had been driving my ‘19 E63s and then bought a ‘21 GLE63s you expect everything to be improved with infotainment.

I’ve noticed it too … my W205 has a rubber/leatherlook on the underside of the door and this is just cheap plastic you find in a budget french car …

in my opinion, the problem of this car are the brakes. It accelerates really fast, yeah... but when you need to brake to 0, you feel the almost 3 tones of car... If youu pay for this car, go for the ceramic extra, because you'll need them if you like to "drive sporty"

I'm pretty tech savvy, but I think even this layout is perhaps too much. The new ones from Mercedes are more PlayStation rather than car, in my opinion. On the other hand, we're resistant to change, so maybe it's just human nature to like the "older" way better.

Ok, maybe it's because this guy and other car reviewers are really tall, and I'm only 5'6, but I swear my Hyundai sonata has more leg/head room in the back seat than like 90% of sedans I've seen reviewed on YT. Even factoring the heigh difference, i just don't get how such a massive car has so little room in the back. He was haunched down and had like an inch of leg room.

It's to be consistent and fair with other cars manufacturers, where we can calculate real capacityby ourselves...You said it's 655 litres, but this is just VDA norm specs reading. This car doesn't have 655 litres of boot space...

Still with the fake exhaust tips. Our 2019 AMG GLC 43 has those too. They are the single blemish on an otherwise incredible SUV both in terms of performance, handling, appearance, and internal comfort. I thought by now MB would have dropped the silly cosmetic exhaust. You are not fooling anyone.

This is the ultimate douche wagon. Pointless size and weight, hideous design. Nobody is gonna off road it so the higher ground clearance is also useless. Trackdays? Are you kidding me? What else? Highway and city driving. Why not have a proper sedan? The automotive industry is dying. Most of the people buying crap SUVs for no reason.
