Even though u are incorrect ab the order of the AL east it’s your opinion I think it’s more 1. Baltimore good offence and young talent to come to improve that over the season pitching is a bit worrying but they’ll prob figure it out 2.jays top 5 pitching in baseball and down seasons from the lineup across the board except Bo I mean turners numbers woulda lead the team in many categories they’ve been raking in spring training 3.Yankees injuries galore just one judge injury from being awful most of their guys like dj and Stanton aren’t good anymore and their staff is inconsistent 4.rays losing two major contributors and fluke seasons from some guys they weren’t that good since the hot start last year 5. Red Sox not a good pitching staff

The Rangers rotation is largely the same as the team that “only” won 90 games last year (btw so did the Astros)… despite a bullpen that converted less than 50% of saves, and massively underperformed its run differential. Plus the offense will be better than last year with Langford and full year of Carter. Picking the Rangers only to win 86 and picking every AL East team to finish above .500 is delusional.

They turned Eovaldi into an ace after DeGrom injury, brought the Mets ace and the Cardinals ace to the team bc both were supposed to be on good teams but we know what happened + they magically erased their bullpen issue in postseason. I liked this team but they had all the planets aligned and I can understand why people are skeptical for this season

@@LaSlattanceVerlander was more the ace of the Mets and he went to the Stros. Also, Rangers get back deGrom, Scherzer and Tyler Mahle at the all star break and with the addition of Lorenzen to go along with Kirby Yates, David Robertson in the bullpen, it’s much stronger than last year. Not to mention young prospects like Foscue, D. Harris, Owen White, Leiter, Rocker etc for depth and trades.

Robbie are you on something, rangers will be in the playoffs, their bats are way too good, the first half rangers pitchers will be decent, but second half will be electric with Jacob, Max, Tyler back into the rotation. You got to remember they got 3 new relievers for the bullpen to fix that problem

How is Detroit being better than the Twins the consensus? I think it’s wild. Twins still have a huge 1-2-3 with Lopez, Ober, Ryan plus Paddack as a 4 is crazy. Varland as a 5 is very good! But I would be concerned about Varland As for the lineup, it’s stacked. Correa will not hit .230 without his injury, Buxton is looking way better than he has for awhile, Lewis is insane, Julien is an on base machine Vazquez will certainly take a step back to normalcy, and Kiriloff/Lee/Wallner all have room to grow and make a huge difference this year plus I didn’t even mention 2nd half Kepler if he could do that for a full season (big if)

4:35 surprised you hold this take. I do think the tigers are the Twins only opponent. But the only place the Twins got worse in was losing Sonny. And that rotation is still projected to be a top 5 staff. The Twins are still the drivers.

I actually have very similar predictions in most stuff but I still don't think the orioles young team is ready for a deep playoff run. Having the rangers missing the playoffs sounds crazy but if seager really doesn't perform like a mvp they will be in trouble. These predictions seem pretty realistic besides some of the teams records are generous.

I have a few disagreements but before I get to them I’d like your opinion about thìs take. The 24 Mariners are like the 90s Braves. 3 studs in the rotation with enough offense to back them, and the pen. I could see them beginning a run in the AL West similar to the 90s Braves. Do you agree Robbie? Now to the disagreements. In the NL East. I have the Marlins finishing last. They have done nothing to improve the offense and have no real power threat with Soler's departure. The SP is a mess as is the BP. I don’t see this this team anywhere but the cellar. The I Nationals are à team on the rise. I think Gore and Grey are going to take the next step. CJ Abrams is going to have a big year and players are to have players becoming ready as the season progresses. The Marlins are a hot mess with no real way to get better any time soon.

Rangers bats are too potent to miss the playoffs. They have the same staff as last season minus half a season of Monty. They won 90 games after blowing an incredible 33 saves. No way they blow that many. Also they will have the best deadline acquisitions with Scherzer, Mahle and deGrom and will trade for upgrades using their great young talent.

I would love to know how you have the Giants at 88 wins, but the Padres at 85. Almost everything you said in favor of the Giants can be said of the Padres, except the Padres have a much more solid rotation. Speaking from experience, Snell is going to have a very slow start, and will probably get to his 2022 totals, and you can't count on Ray or Hicks. The Padres defense is arguably stronger than the Giants, and their offense too. I think this Giants hype is recency bias.

Twins will win the central. Our offense will be good again with a big breakout coming from Royce Lewis. Are starting pitching will be fine. The only way the Tigers win the central is if the Twins have a lot of injuries. They will start the year rough with Duran, Topa, and Staumont on the IL. Also Buxton health is also iffy. The Tigers moves this off-season isn’t enough to move the needle.
